A short stay for my daughter birthday weekend
Nov 23rd, 2020
Hi I stayed here over the weekend and this is a beautiful hotel but what had me puzzled is they were only cleaning rooms every three days with Covid numbers so high I don’t feel like it was enough besides that people were constantly up and down the elevators in the lobby area and interacting with the hotel and parking staff the elevators and lobbies were not being wiped down as much as needed with so much traffic in such high areas for a two day visit costing as much as it did things can be done a little differently to help with the prevention of more Covid although my daughter enjoyed her stay with no complaints..... The hotel is in a great location and hotel room we stayed in was clean. I do want to recognize Ryan at the front desk. He was extremely polite and professional, gave great recommendations on where to eat and provided us with a very nice upgrade. The restaurant onsite is great as well. Will definitely be coming back. We stayed here while in Philly and LOVED the location. Turn right out of the hotel for an easy walk to shopping and food. Turn left for the a stroll to the Rocky Steps (oh and the Philadelphia Art Museum). Go Straight our the door and you can walk to all of your historical tour sites. It was perfect! Quiet, clean and very helpful. And if you are visiting the LDS temple, just a ten minute walk!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We spent two nights here for our anniversary and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were universally friendly and helpful and the room was excellent. The ambiance at the rooftop bar was also great. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
They need to take it up a notch

This is a very nice hotel in a extremely good location in the city it’s close to the museum, it’s close to the barns it’s, it’s close to the Reading terminal market, it’s an easy walk to just about anywhere. The hotel is very nice, the beds are excellent they’re not too hard not to soft you’re just very comfortable. I find the Marriott beds to be far too soft and I consequently never stay at Marriotts. The hotel seems like it was understaffed this is probably because of the pandemic. We found the hotel to be very clean and we felt safe staying there. The restaurant was exceptional for a hotel restaurant, the manager whose name I believe was Nathan tedious and exceptional job explaining the cities Covid mandates to us we enjoyed our experience there and we have an excellent server named Katy. The valet lost our keys when we were checking out and we wind up having to postpone our departure nearly 2 hours. The hotel was very nice to provided breakfast for us at the restaurant urban farmer which could not have been nicer, the restaurant is extremely well run the staff is better than so many restaurants that I’ve been to. The breakfast was fine I kind of think they should comped us a night considering the time we lost leaving. There’s no more coffee in the rooms, one of us had to go to the lobby to purchase a cuppa coffee first thing in the morning. I’m not sure if I would stay there again that’s something I’ll have to think about. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
