Great hotel in the heart of town

Aug 21st, 2019

Great place to stay: faces the Public Gardens, which is one of the top sites in town. Staff are super-friendly and very accommodating. They filled our every request. Near to shopping, the Citadel historic site and more. Would absolutely come back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

An Amazing Stay!

Aug 21st, 2019

A fabulous hotel. We had our wedding reception at the hotel 35 years ago. Be certain to book the Park Suite! A. great location; in the heart of the city. Room was lovely and staff were very courteous. Can't wait to return!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Mice in the restaurant and awful rooms

Aug 21st, 2019

Rooms full of water damage and deficiencies. You ask for a high floor when booking, you land on the ground floor overlooking the mechanical equipment. Fans and AC not working. The worst piece is there were mice running under the tables during the breakfast buffet and the staff were not remotely concerned! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great stay at a great hotel.

Aug 20th, 2019

It was a great stay, also the hotel is in a great location as well. Staff are very helpful. The dining options in the area are within walking distance. The public gardens is across the street. Overall this hotel is a good value. I will stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

expensive but nice

Aug 18th, 2019

the Lord Nelson is more expensive than I would normally stay with but it was very close to where we wanted to be. right near Spring Garden is where the action is in Halifax so great for that. try to find free street parking if on a weekend. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
