We stayed the second week of December after rebooking our June trip as a result of the bars being closed in Florida. The Marquesa staff were very helpful and we were able to move our reservation without any penalty. When we arrived we were told we had been upgraded to a king room (we had booked a standard room) and that we could access our room immediately, which was great considering that it was only 1130am. Our room was sunny, spacious and had it's own little porch overlooking the beautiful gardens and pools. We were told that they were trying to avoid getting the housekeeping staff in every day and asked if we were ok to just let them know if we needed anything or needed the room cleaned. In the end we didn't ask and just asked for more towels and toilet paper. In hindsight, I wish we had asked to have the room cleaned at least once. It was very peaceful and we had the pool areas to ourselves pretty much the entire time. I really love spending time in the sun by the pool since it is a frozen tundra at home! We were there on an unusually chilly week (highs of around 68F) They mentioned that one of the two pools is heated but when I went to get into it, it definitely didn't feel heated. I just assumed that their version of heated and mine were different. So for the whole week I was getting into freezing cold water without realizing that the pool heater had stopped working! Our last day the pool was like bathwater. If it doesn't feel warm, SAY SOMETHING! I wish I had! It is a little disappointing they do not offer breakfast as this would have made it absolutely perfect. Overall the staff were very warm, welcoming and happy to help however they could. I highly recommend the Marquesa to couples. The gardens are absolutely stunning and the tranquility is second to none. We usually stay at adult only hotels and resorts and this felt as good as that. Will be going back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

If not for the people smoking on their patio stinking up the pool area I would give this hotel a 5 star rating. I thought building was non smoking. The employees are excellent and location perfect!!🤷🏻♂️ TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Marquesa 4-1-4 was awesome! The Bahama Suite room was modern, comfortable, and very clean. staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The Hotel was quiet to rest or relax peacefully as we enjoyed some wine on the private balcony, and at the same time only a few blocks from all the action on Duval st. Perfect location! My girlfriend and I were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go within 5 to 10 minutes easy pace walk - Mallory Square, Bagatelle, Bad Bros Burrito, Durty Harrys, A&B, Blue Heaven, Garbos, crazy T-shirts shop, other shopping and many historical sites. It really is centrally located with a beautiful property. We wanted to sleep in after a long night out, and thankfully the room was very quiet. Room was cleaned and fresh towels each day as needed regardless if we left the room at 9am or 1pm. We also had the opportunity to dine at Cafe Marquesa, highly recommended - food was delish! Overall just a great visit to Marquesa and beautiful Key West. Will definitely recommend! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Look no further! I’m so glad we chose to stay a The Marquesa in Key West. The grounds are gorgeous and just steps away from all the sites and attractions. Beautiful palms, orchids, and tropical plants. Our room had a covered balcony with table and chairs for our breakfast and comfy seats for relaxing. The pools were gorgeous and always stocked with fresh towels. Bed was comfy and room immaculate. Bathroom was also very nicely designed and extremely clean. Felt like we were the first guests! Staff was very helpful and accommodating (Bryan and Alex) and location was nice and quiet. Restaurant was delicious. Excellent food and cocktails. Would definitely stay here again. The Marquesa is where we stay when visiting Key West. The staff are all friendly and accommodating, the rooms are impeccable, and the grounds are immaculate. The Marquesa Cafe can’t be beat. When it comes to great, innovative food, Chef Graham Dailey is quite amazing. All of the restaurant staff do a great job at making you feel welcome and taking care of your needs. We love this place.
