We stayed three nights at the Maven in November 2019. Courteous staff throughout the hotel, great and convenient location and superb accommodations. We will return and highly recommend this wonderful hotel to any traveler going to Denver. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The Maven buzzes with good energy

Jan 17th, 2020

I’ve stayed at The Maven three times now and it consistently makes me feel comfortable and energized in a way few city hotels ever have. The staff are kind and helpful. There is beautiful and quirky artwork in the rooms, common areas and even the elevator which creates the kind of warmth and considerate design of a home rather than a hotel. The lobby takes you directly into Dairy block, a big open-plan space filled with artwork, restaurants, shops, cafes and beautifully designed seating areas. It is always buzzing with people - both visitors and Coloradans and makes you feel energized and like a local. The specialness of the Maven even extends into the alleyway behind the hotel which connects to the gym. It’s less of an alley and more of a walk through a street-art installation. With lighting, interactive installations and outdoor spaces to drink a glass of rose when it’s warm, it’s a really magical nook of the city to find yourself in! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Easily my favorite hotel

Jan 15th, 2020

I know it sounds cheesy, but it's true, The Maven is my favorite hotel. It's like my second home. The gym is phenomenal, the beds are cloud-level divine, the staff is incredibly kind and thoughtful and each room has its own character. The location is impossible to beat for all things Denver and I the dynamic chill spaces throughout the Milk Market make for awesome work spaces, meeting locations or just chill out zones. There's always great music playing, there are tons of great restaurants and bars in the building that make for great hangout spots, the coffee shop is to die for, you get free happy hour tokens each day (to be enjoyed at the airstream next to check in. Yes, you read that correctly) and all of this doesn't even touch on the Milk Market - the fun, energetic space filled with tons of artisan purveyors including great bars, restaurants, flower shops, clothing vendors and so many more. All of this is before you even leave the building and walk across the incredible alley to the adjacent shops, galleries, barbers, speak easy, whiskey bar and so much more. In short, if you leave this hotel and its property during your stay, you had better have a really good reason! Take my word for it, don't stay anywhere else in Denver! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Fabulous Hotel unparalleled location

Jan 15th, 2020

I can’t say enough about this hotel! The location- it’s in a former large industrial space and the lobby is a public space with little shops and small eateries, a bar & an excellent cafe. The whole area is called The Diary Block and is so hip BUT not so hip that as a 50 (something) with their 16 yr old daughter- I feel out of place. There is an incredibly well appointed gym in the block area- 2 min walk (1 if you sprint which you may do as there is a short portion where you are outside). The hotel rooms are clean and tidy, though slightly weathered. If a really well appointed room is your thing- this might not be for you, but if you want charm (which this is full of) this is your place. Our room was fabulously unconventional- a king sized bed tucked into the wall with a twin bunk bed on top of it. I loved it, and would consider creating a space like this should I ever do a new house construction. It was like a wonderful slumber party. Oh ... and there’s an airstream parked in the lobby where you get a few drink every night - soda, beer or margaritas. And each hotel gets a free drip coffee at the cafe each day. Can’t wait to come back !!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Monet brought me to Denver

Jan 5th, 2020

Absolutely loved my stay at the Maven in Denver! Great location. The attached Milk Market has a plethora of choices. You don’t ever have to leave the location if you don’t need to. I specifically planned my trip around the Monet Art Exhibit at the Denver Art Museum. The hotel offered a free valet service back and forth. James was my driver. Excellent attention to detailed service. If I had one complaint it would be that the bed in the room was uncomfortable. Woke up soar each morning. Highlight was the amazing bath tub!! I’ll definitely be back:) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
