This historical property, which originally opened in 1928, is a boutique hotel that offers a variety of hip bars and restaurants. Options include dinner at the Belvedere Room; drinks on Prairie Fire's rooftop lounge; Prospect for drinks and a show; Brimstone for pub fare; and breakfast and coffee at the Farmacy Cafe. The hotel also regularly hosts events like wine tastings, beer dinners, dueling piano nights and live music. Recent guests were especially impressed with the customer service, though others wished the lighting in the bathroom was brighter. Guests can choose between four room types, all of which have flat-screen TVs and plush bedding. There's also a 685-square-foot suite that boasts an in-room Jacuzzi.. This downtown property is just two blocks from the Fox Theater and close to shopping and dining.
