4 nights in Bruges

Staff very friendly and helpful. They tried to provide food deliveries during closure of restaurants due Corona Virus. Breakfast was rich and delicious. Perfect location in the centre near Rozenhoedkaai. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfection!

Mar 5th, 2020

We stayed in the Guest house for one night and left feeling incredibly lucky to have found this wonderful little place. Everything was perfect and the staff so friendly and keen to help. The room was large and beautifully appointed and the breakfast was so fabulous, we were lost for words. This is the nicest place we have ever stayed. Thank you especially to Tim on the front desk and to everyone who made our stay such a memorable one. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Wonderful in all aspects

Jan 25th, 2020

If we are fortunate enough to make it back to the beautiful town of Bruges, we will definitely stay at The Pand. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our three night stay - the hotel, staff, our room, location, everything was perfect. This family owned, boutique hotel is beautiful. We especially liked the landing across from the registration desk. These are two nicely appointed rooms where we enjoyed taking tea, having drinks, reading and talking with other guests. The hotel’s bar, small but elegant, is also on this level and was open until midnight each night of our stay. We enjoyed breakfast each morning at The Pand’s restaurant - fresh fruit, eggs cooked to order, bread, pastries, a different smoothie drink each day, tea and juices were a great way to start our days. The staff was truly amazing! We’d like to thank each of you for your great work. -Exceptional service starts at the top and the hotel manager, Katelijne, went above and beyond to help us. From Bruges, we were scheduled to head to Paris, but all trains were delayed or cancelled due to strikes in France. Katelijne spent more than an hour with us checking train schedules, rental car locations and private transfer. With her help, we were able to secure transportation to Paris which we would not have been able to do on our own. -Eveline, Barbara and Matthias at the front desk who helped with questions and restaurant suggestions/reservations through The Pand’s email address, and who helped during our stay. -Tim at the front desk who made terrific suggestions and worked very hard to make our stay a great one. -Ignace and Sandra who took great care of us at breakfast each morning. A special thank you to Ignace who served us a wonderful late breakfast our first morning when we inadvertently slept in due to jet lag. -Frederick who waited on us when we had nightly drinks in the salon. We enjoyed our time in the Ralph Lauren Junior Suite. The suite is on the first floor just a dozen steps past the front desk. We were concerned about possible noise from the lobby or hallway, but never heard a word. There was an additional inner door which we closed each night as well. The shower and bathtub are updated and very nice. The Pand’s location is excellent. It’s on a quiet side street steps from the famous view of the Quay of the Rosary (Rozenhoedkaai) and a five minute walk from Markt Square and Burg Square. Restaurants we enjoyed (check out my reviews on each for more detail): -Cocquus: 15 minute walk. Kind service and nice interaction with the chef, Niels. -Osteria 45: 10 minute walk. Had a fantastic night here visiting with the Sicilian owner and still think about our meal (garden salad, four cheese pizza, a great bottle of recommended wine, pannacotta, and after dinner drinks of limoncello and amaro). We highly recommend. -The Potato Bar: 10 minute walk. Great spot for a mid-afternoon drink and frites (we split a large order with side sauces of smokey pepper and cheese-o-naise). -De Herborist: 15 to 20 minute taxi. This is a special restaurant that has maintained its Michelin star for nearly twenty years. We highly recommend. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Lovely

Jan 20th, 2020

Just back from two nights in Bruges staying at pand hotel. Lovely small hotel in great location. The staff were amazing and enjoyed our anniversary here. The breakfast was fantastic and definitely worth booking with your stay. The bed very comfortable but couldn’t swing a cat in the bathroom but didn’t matter. Thankyou Pand hotel staff for making our stay and anniversary very special. We were also lucky we had great weather and the canal boats were running. We walked from the railway station which wasn’t too far TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The staff excellent and could not do enough for you. They went more “than the extra mile” Breakfast great with champagne. Service excellent. The pot of tea highly recommended- get tea, egg nog, biscuits and chocs at a very reasonable price. Very close to all attraction Our friends going and recommended the Pand to them including room 108 Phone not working but did not affect our holiday. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
