Great Staff, Good Location, Overpriced Hotel

Sep 14th, 2020

The title above summarizes our experience. Kudos to the staff: professional, genuinely ready to help, quick to address guests’ inquiries. We give 5-stars during our stay to the following employees: Travis at the Front Desk and Rachel in the Restaurant. Housekeeping: there was none during our stay but any time we needed something, it was delivered quickly. Perhaps the water could be delivered in a way more appropriate for a 5-star hotel (see attached picture of the way it was dropped off in front of our room.) Our room: we booked the Junior Suite and were “greeted” by a large stain on the carpet upon walking in. The chairs and tiny table on the small patio didn’t look very clean. Awesome view! But due to the architectural design, the room was very dark. The price was indeed in line with what luxury 5-star Hotels like Ritz and Four Seasons charge. However, the rooms in this hotel for what they offer are WAY overpriced! The Restaurant: good food but a very limited menu (Sane for lunch and dinner). Stunning view from both the terrace and the restaurant itself! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful Views and Amazing Staff

Sep 3rd, 2020

Our family stayed 5 nights at the Peaks. We were upgraded to a sunset view room and the views from our balcony were absolutely stunning -with views of the golf course and the mountains behind it. The staff was phenomenal (thank you Nikki and Laura from the front desk!) who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The resort was Covid conscious and took adequate precautions. I saw the pool guy spraying and wiping down the pool chairs throughout the day. Highly recommend! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Wonderful Place with Amazing Staff! Highly Recommend!

Sep 1st, 2020

We had an amazing four days in Telluride which began when we arrived at Peaks Resort and Spa. We were graciously greeted by a friendly man named “Coach” who led the Guest Relations team and made certain that our trip would be extra special. The resort was charming and the views impeccable. Mountain Village has a wonderful European ski village feel and the gondola system in Telluride makes getting around incredibly easy with the bonus of amazing views. We continued to receive excellent service led by Coach and his team. Thank you for a wonderful time! Can’t wait to come back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Needs an Update

Aug 29th, 2020

This place charges a lot of money and yet is in desperate need of cleaning and repairs. We paid over $250 a night and were very disappointed in the room. There was mold in the shower, some odd mark on the couch, the beds are not comfortable and there is no AC in the rooms. Although the location is nice, the price tag and experience just don’t add up. Coach’s Corner

Aug 16th, 2020

This was our first trip to Telluride and we loved the location of the Peaks Resort. As we were sitting outside enjoying the incredible view, we were greeted by Kat after she noticed the Astros hat. She was so sweet and asked if there was anything she could assist us with. We selected this hotel to play at the golf course so it was very disappointing to hear due to Covid the course was only open to members and no hotel guests at this time. Kat introduced us to Coach to see what he could do to get us on the golf course. Coach was so friendly and walked us down to the pro shop. Unfortunately still no luck getting on the course. Coach was so knowledgeable about the area and suggested that we drive to Ouray taking the Last Dollar road and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We enjoyed visiting with Coach and learning so much about the area. He then suggested on our way home for us to take the Ophir pass which we did and “WOW” that was quite an experience (high clearance 4x4 recommended). Both Kat and Coach were so friendly and really made our stay memorable. We feel like we now have friends at the Peak Resort. The only recommendation we have for the hotel are better beds.
