Luxury!

Jan 17th, 2020

This is one of those hotels that really makes you feel special and it is not even my type of hotel. I prefer very modern hotels but the charm, quality and staff at The Pfister completely won me over. I am staying at Club Level and the rooms are amazing, with high quality mattresses and linens. There is also an included access to a Club lounge that is well worth going for Club class rooms. What a great hotel, if I ever return to Milwaukee I know where to stay! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This is absolutely the perfect hotel. It is absolutely gorgeous, and the service goes way above and beyond what you will get at any other hotel in the area. As I parked my own vehicle, I was met before I even checked in in the garage by an employee very kindly guided my brother and myself to the elevator and explain exactly where to go once we got to the main floor. We were greeted as soon as we open the doors to the opulence of this magnificent building built over a century ago. It is absolutely not just a hotel, it is a Destiination. Room service, a café, a restaurant, a lobby /Bar with a wonderful atmosphere to it, and other amenities as well as a men’s clothing store attached to the lobby. All surrounded by A beautiful decor including Victorian Art, that I’m told is one of the biggest collections outside of a museum. The staff absolutely could not be friendlier or more willing to help with anything that you need. I had an absolutely wonderful time at this hotel and all of this in the wake of losing a wonderful aunt. Her funeral was actually the reason he ventured to Milwaukee on this weekend. I told all my cousins who stayed elsewhere that they all missed out. One of my cousins however had stayed at the Pfister before, and he returned. And as soon as I saw pictures, I had to stay here too. And if I stop back to Milwaukee there is absolutely no other place I intend on staying. Enough said? Pull the trigger and make your reservations LOL you will not regret it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Gorgeous, historic hotel with amazing staff. Perfect New Year's Eve

Jan 8th, 2020

Stayed there for New Year's eve with a package deal that included tickets to the Milwaukee Art Museum, parking, a bottle of wine, and a $40 food credit, all for an incredibly reasonable price. Though I've eaten at the Pfister once I've never stayed there and have wanted to for years. It's such a beautiful hotel, full of history and charm, and the staff seem very proud of the place they work. We stayed in the historic side and were upgraded at no cost to a suite, which I would highly recommend. The room was gorgeous and spacious, with an actual door dividing the living room and bedroom. Everything was updated with plenty of hot water in the shower and other modern amenities, but the room and area still had a charming, old world feel with marble, beautiful wood, high ceilings, etc. We spent some time outside the hotel that evening but when we were there we toured the art on all floors and hung out in the warm and welcoming lobby. Though it was very crowded, for New Year's, the bartenders and servers remained gracious throughout the evening. When it came time to count down the end of 2019 the piano player lit a glowing globe and counted us down, and the bar served champagne. Perfect end to the night, followed by a luscious breakfast the next morning in the Cafe, again with excellent service. We hated to leave for sure. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Exquisite Hotel | Excellent Service | No HVAC in the winter - A Team Bus Driver’s Review

Jan 6th, 2020

This is it an extraordinary, beautifully-renovated and historic hotel. It is exquisite. During our stay, the attention to details was top notch. The valets, headed up by Harold, provided exceptional service accommodating our Team bus’ parking, boarding & disembarking during our two-night stay. Brian, you are the best! Housekeeping did a marvelous job tending to every detail in the room. Finally, in keeping with the historic nature of the Hotel, there is no climate control of your room in the tower during the winter months. Only heat. If you want any cool air, you must sleep with the windows propped open. It’s the way they’ve done it for decades. Enjoy. ;-) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
