Nice choice for 3 years anniversary

May 4th, 2020

Me and my wife choose to stay in here to celebrate our 3 years anniversary during Covid-19, even though lots of facilities closed down due to pandemic, they made their best to accommodate us. Definitely will revisit next time. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Quite Enjoyable

Feb 6th, 2020

Having been wanting to compare this to is neighbour and sister hotel (JW Marriott) for a while. The Ritz Carlton is a little more money but it is worth paying. The hotel is intimate and a more classic design. Rooms are nicely decorated although they tend to cater for more high-end business travellers rather than luxury travellers. They are a good size. Service was friendly and made me feel comfortable and at home. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent Service!

Feb 1st, 2020

Really enjoyed the excellent service from all the staff. However, would like to especially thank the Louisa and her staff (Klaus, Katherine, etc) at the Club Lounge for all their help during my last 2wk stay! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Over and Above Service

Jan 26th, 2020

We were only at the hotel for a one night stay as it was a connection city for us but by the service you would have thought we were staying for a month. The gentleman at the front desk was very engaging and was amazed that we have been married for 25 years. Had room service for dinner. Food and service were excellent. We checked out at 6:15 am the following morning and were given "gifts" by the front desk team with a lovely hand written note and drawing showing a couple with hearts and 25(signifying 25 years of marriage). The gift include a to go breakfast(breakfast not included in room rate), chopsticks, box of cookies, etc. We were so touched. We felt totally pampered and special. Oh,and they upgraded our room. Imagine how awesome it would have been to stay longer. Can't wait to go back for a longer stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing hotel.. one of the best I've stayed in

Jan 14th, 2020

The Ritz-Carlton in Beijing was superb in every way. My trip started with a personal pick up at the end of the gateway of my plane. The agent took me through every step of the way through immigration which is a logistical nightmare. I was then whisked away into a private parking lot where a properly appointed Benz swiftly took me to the hotel. My flight arrived at 5:20AM so I figured I would have to wait for a room, but that was not to be. Upon arrival, the check in desk was waiting for me, had my room key ready at 7:00AM, and the entire check in process took all of 30 seconds. I rested in a very comfortable bed for a good 3 hours. The king size bed is very comfortable, the sheets are good quality as is the duvet. The shade (automatic) comes all of the way down for those who wish to sleep in the dark. There is a large sofa which is great if you have guests or want to relax. The bathroom has separate bath, shower, and glass door separating the toilet. The amenities, especially the soap and shower gel are of EXCELLENT quality and I also like the scent they chose. I availed myself of the lounge which is an amazing extra. They basically feed you all day. In the morning there is a large selection of Chinese food, noodle soup, along with the expected croissants, pain au chocolat, fruits, and a separate menu which has egg dishes, eggs benedict, a favorite of many, french toast, pancakes, fried dough with tofu.. all made to order. If you didn't get enough for breakfast, they start serving lunch at the club lounge at noon, where again, there are cheeses, fruits, chinese fare, there is a roast steak with arugula the other day, and a very nicely done Mushroom soup. Desserts are all professionally made and are not too sugary. If you feel hungry during the day, you can come back for afternoon tea where they serve various cakes, cucumber and chicken sandwiches and an array of desserts and of course the mandatory English tea selection. Dinner starts several hours later with a similar style buffet as lunch. Basically, you can live in this hotel. Given it was -5 degrees outside, it's not a bad solution. The hotel is sort of centrally located, near a huge luxury mall.. It's about 30-45 minutes from the airport. After a nice breakfast, an early lunch and late check out, I went to the lobby to get my ride to the airport and a driver with a ROLLS ROYCE, the hotel car, awaited me. Again, this is class.. going in a Rolls to the airport. The car let me off in front of the terminal where again I was met by airport staff and taken personally to check in and all of the way to immigration. This hotel has really pulled out all of the stops to bring me the best experience possible. This is my 3rd time staying but the service only got better. Normally, I am not the type of person to use hotel transportation but this was so above the top, that I think it's worth it. Everything about the service, the rooms, and the food is lovely. I can't recommend the Ritz Carlton Beijing more. It was truly a stupendous experience! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
