JORGE LUNA valet manager was unprofessional

JORGE LUNA tried deceive me into paying for parking by lying about the remaining time I had on my meter. JORGE LUNA informed me I had 35 minutes left before I would be charged. In actuality I had 30 minutes left he dishonestly added 5 minutes extra in order to ensure I came to retrieve my vehicle 5 minutes late thus getting charged the $12. I was confused but according to JORGE LUNA'S orders I was a minute late and because of this I was being charged $12. This was when I realized he lied about the Remaining time I had left. I walked over to the restaurant to confirm the time I came in left my car in valet along with confirm the 30 minutes of time I had Remaining. They were able to confirm all of this. As I get into my vehicle Jorge Luna approaches my car and proceeds to argue with me in front of the hotel with hotel guests standing around looking on. As I called him out on his poor customer service, lies and manipulative tactics. I told him "you are really going to lose a customer over one minute?" JORGE LUNA responded "I'd be happy to lose you as a customer and walked off." What kind of business are you running here? I called the front office and spoke with Catherine informing her of the mishap where I have yet to hear back from her. I gave her my cell number and have gotten no response back. JORGE LUNA is unprofessional this is a poor reflection of the Ritz Carlton brand and USA Parking company. JORGE LUNA made my visit displeasure. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

From the second we checked in with Ebony at the front desk we were given the five star treatment. The valet team is amazing and friendly (and we didn't even have a car). The wait staff at Burlock Coast went above and beyond. We don't drink and even the bartender at the pool, Scott, went out of his way to welcome us. Edlet at the pool was also very accommodating. I can honestly say that I've never missed a hotel staff as much as I miss everyone's smiling faces there. The rooms were spotless and the view was gorgeous. We will definitely be back! First Class Oceanfront Hotel wth Superb Personal Service

Impeccably clean, from the valet entrance to beautiful lobby, room, all public areas and restaurant. Check-in took 2 minutes, their front desk team was excellent, room ready, extra clean and very comfortable. Housekeeping came by on our schedule, and did a very nice job with everything. Check-out smooth, valet sent to room for bags, our car already in front, and greeted by name by the valet. Staff all wearing masks. Felt safe and comfortable - highly recommend for anyone who has not stayed at a hotel since beginning of pandemic. Get out again and spend a few days at this Ritz-Carlton. The personal service is at the highest level, anything we needed, was promptly handled, and with enthusiasm, the staff really cares. And the food, wow! Every item brought to the table had a beautiful presentation. We have stayed at many high end properties around the world, the chefs at Fort Lauderdale Ritz Carlton are some of the best classically trained. For our birthday dinner, both the Executive and Pasty Chef came out to visit our table and discuss the menu, and both prepared incredible dishes for us. Great bar and server staff, as we had all meals and drinks at the hotel, why go anyplace else. The staff always greeted us by name, Mr or Mrs, and very quickly knew our personal preferences, now that's real high level service, with a very personal touch! Can't wait to return... My husband and I were unable to renew our vows on our anniversary as we’d planned due to the pandemic. But we still wanted so R&R and couple time away from the kids. This hotel did not disappoint. They follow all of the property sanitation guidelines and we’re still able to offer us a relaxing time in a super clean and quite beautiful hotel . The hotel itself has some sort of distinct fragrance that just entices you. It’s similar to the Westin hotels but a bit more flowery . Our room was a balcony intercontinental/ ocean view. Which is the best option because if you want to relax on the balcony at night with a glass of wine , you can but still have a view of the city . The location of course is desirable because it’s on the beach in walking distance to restaurants and hotels . The rooftop pool offers great view and really good lunch . We ate our lunch on the lounge chairs and took in the ocean views . I love the private walkway to the beach . It’s nice to not have to go out to the street and try to cross in traffic . There’s lounge areas with a pool table and TVs .. you really don’t have to leave the hotel . Customer Service in all areas of the hotel were top notch . The gym... it was amazing!! They had a Peleton bike that I was able to try out .. it was positioned to view the intercostal, while working out . I can’t wait to go back!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Repeat visit - great Birthday week!

Visiting this wonderful property has become a bit of an annual tradition on my birthday - and this overall did not disappoint. To start, the team at this property is amazing - and make us feel welcome and truly valued. There are two guys at the pool area - Scott and Richard - who always go way out of their way to make our stay memorable. Scott put together a great birthday treat (including decorations) - and Richard held our preferred seats before we got there in the morning. The team throughout the rest of the property are equally as Guest focused. Also worth noting - we enjoyed a great meal one night at Burlock Coast - do not overlook this casual but delicious option if you are on property or are in the area. Cleaning protocol for COVID-19 was enhanced. While you still had the option of 2 times daily housekeeping you needed to schedule times for this to ensure you would be out of the room. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the property. One small disappointment - sharing to the hotel team in general - we are Bonvoy Titanium Elite level - and no upgrade was offered (I do not believe the property was near capacity) - or alternative offered for breakfast with the lounge closed. Hopefully this is something the property decides to focus on for the future. As we all are well aware - times are incredibly tough for all of us - and our friends in the hospitality industry are really hard hit. They are ready to welcome us when we all are ready - when you feel comfortable / if you are able to do so get out and travel - even a road trip - they will be happy to see you! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
