Exceptional stay in Downtown Los Angeles!

Jun 16th, 2020

We had a wonderful stay at the Ritz Carlton in downtown Los Angeles, despite all the restrictions in place due to Covid-19. The staff was attentive and our room was a wonderful space to return to after being out around the city all day. Currently, services are limited and the Club Lounge, fitness centers, pool, and all other amenities outside of the room are closed, but we understand that the company is doing all that it can to help people feel safe during this time. I look forward to returning when we can take advantage of all that the hotel has to offer. As parents of a college student near DTLA, we have stated in several hotels in the area to be near campus, and our stay at the Ritz Carlton DTLA was by far our best experience. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great place and people but a little off ..

Apr 25th, 2020

Disclaimer stayed here during Covid madness and am first responder and got good rate because of if. I know these are crazy times and also I know there was no one there during my time and I understand that (I am super cool and reasonable) and staff was friendly but ....when I checked in I asked any “upgrades” and they said “no” Come on no one their and am titanium elite. The when I asked for coffee pods as none in room had to call about two or three times and I waited a long time before second phone call. In any case I know weird times but I am first responder and check in staff knew as there is a rate for us. A simple upgrade would have gone a long way in this crazy stressful time that’s all I am saying. I understand it’s crazy and limited staff. the staff otherwise were cool and amazing TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Ummm...

One of the most average Ritz Carlton I’ve stayed at. Barry meets 5 star. The location is good, but also a bit sketchy at night, it’s right in the city center, the rooms are fairly small. The breakfast and service are unspeakable. If you’re a true fan of Ritz Carlton, I’d suggest you to stay at the one in Marina Del Rey TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Room service pizza = very bad

Mar 2nd, 2020

Some parts soggy like wet bread .. very bad. Old crust.. I ordered the brick oven pepperoni pizza at 10pm and was disappointed.. won’t order room service again. I have a large travel network and we work with a lot of hotels.. so I know what’s good and what’s bad... However, the room views are amazing and check-in with Rachael Rodriguez was very good. She’s very friendly and nice. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The Club Level staff here are experts in service.

Feb 24th, 2020

Many thanks to Tory, Nathan, Emad, and the rest of the staff who work in the Club Level at this Ritz Carlton. They are so kind, attentive and professional...I already miss them. You get the most amazing breakfast, lunch, appetizers and desserts daily. Great location in the downtown area and right next door to the Staples Center. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
