All guests enjoy access to Atlantis' ample amenities
Meals at the resort's restaurants are expensive

Compared to the luxe Reef at Atlantis and the adults-only Cove at Atlantis, The Royal at Atlantis is the most kid-friendly branch of the Atlantis Bahamas properties, starting with one of the largest open-air marine habitats in the world (which resides in the lobby). Recent guests praised The Royal at Atlantis' rooms, which feature flat-screen high-definition TVs, 24-hour room service and French balconies that open to harbor or ocean views. But the best part about staying here is having access to Atlantis amenities like the 141-acre water park, one of the Caribbean's largest casinos, the Mandara Spa and an 18-hole golf course. Though there are 40 restaurants, coffee shops, bars and lounges on-site, previous visitors recommend going into Nassau (about 5 miles south of the property) for meals to avoid shelling out a pretty penny for pricey meals at the resort. Travelers can also cash in accrued Marriott Bonvoy points for stays here.

When most people think of Atlantis, they immediately envision Royal Towers – the massive, pink, now-iconic structure that opened in 1998 and houses over 1,000 spacious rooms. It sits along a near-perfect (if it weren't for the vendors) stretch of beach in Paradise Island.

If you plan on spending your days riding the slides at Aquaventure and nights in the casino and the nightclub, then centrally located Royal Towers is the Atlantis hotel for you. While the cheaper Coral Towers and Beach Towers offer comfortable accommodations, this is the section of the hotel where you start to feel some luxury.

As the resort has expanded, accommodations within its central core are emerging as more affordable options. And of those units, the plushest lie within the Royal Towers – the tallest and most imaginative edifice in The Bahamas, replete with decorative seahorses, winged dragons, and huge conch shells sprouting from cornices and rooflines.

Atlantis takes travelers to a world beyond extraordinary. Rising magically from turquoise waters, Atlantis is a unique ocean-themed resort destination offering unparalleled entertainment and awe-inspiring recreations.
