Abysmal service with loud construction all day. Huge regret booking this place.

We were really looking forward to our stay as our Aspen wedding was cancelled due to covid. We arrived to loud non-stop construction being done on a house right next to the pool that can be heard across the property all day. Worse than the construction was the service. Extremely snobby and awful to interact with - even to ask simple questions. Wait times for anything are hours - e.g you have to wait multiple hours to get a chair to sit at the pool, to get a responses to basic questions, etc. And we are ambassador level so I can’t imagine how they treat people that don’t stay at hotels as frequently we do. Awful experience and really regretting the decision to stay here. Avoid! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Best Ski Resort in Aspen

There is just no comparison. This is the best and most luxurious resort in Aspen. Great staff, great management, great rooms, most central location, best service. I would almost rank 6 star- Dubai level. But they need an executive lounge. They also need a better breakfast. Otherwise.... Flawless! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Just ok I’ve stayed at other St Regis properties but hate to say this property is not on par as the others. A bit outdated. The pool and jacuzzi area is just ok. Both are open with limited persons in each. The location is excellent. Everything is walking distance. When we checked in, the first night our TV didn’t work nor did our AC, but will say front desk attempted to fix it the next day. The AC still didn’t work but they sent someone out again to fix it and after the second attempt it was fine. Toiletries definitely need to be upgraded to a better brand. If you have severe allergies against pets you may want to stay away from this property. All rooms are pet friendly. There were many dogs at the hotel. You do have to wear a mask in public areas, which I loved. The lobby is cozy with a fireplace. I mentioned before arrival I was celebrating my birthday while there, no recognition, comps or upgrade. Hotel was def not 100% occupied. Staff was ok but at times did feel like I was being a bother. Overall we had a great stay. Just wasn’t the St Regis experience that it’s known for. The COVID paranoia put a damper on the stay. Pretty tough to provide the expected service and amenities under those conditions. And charging regular rates (and $50 valet fee) during this time is criminal. Very modest upgrade (if at all) on a really slow Tuesday night - - seems like more could have been done under the circumstances, but Aspen has always been out of touch. However, the complimentary in-room anniversary bottle was a nice touch. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Nice Hotel with lots of dogs!!!

The St. Regis is a beautiful hotel with very nice staff. The only issue is it’s “Pet Friendly”! Everywhere we went there were dogs. Peeing and pooping everywhere including the hall! Leave your damn animals at home. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
