Stunning Hotel & Amazing Service

As I write this I am 8 nights into a 10 night stay. I couldn't be more impressed by this property. Somehow even at capacity it feels like you have the place to yourself. The private beach is wonderful and stretches either direction from the hotel for almost a mile. The grounds are tropical, lush and impeccably maintained. The service is also outstanding. Everyone is friendly and nice and genuinely seems to care that you are having a great time. Specifically the head of guest services Yarisa is an absolute gem who went out of her way to make sure that my family had everything we needed. Also, the hotel GM Jose was great and personally responded to a couple of questions I had prior to arrival. This is the kind of service that creates loyal customers. I couldn't recommend more. I’m writing this review because I recently stayed in a “luxurious” boutique hotel in Condado. There I noticed how I underrated St Regis when I stayed the past october. As if good service where an obligation in luxurious hotels. So I decide that people need to know that if they want real luxurious experience with delicious food and a marvelous costumer and cleaning services St Regis is the place. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful property, stayed there once in October 2019. Wanted to stay again in October 2020, but I canceled within the allotted time due to the pandemic. Even doing so, I was charged a "No Show" for the entire stay. Thought the refund process would be easy and called the property. They told me they would call me back, to process the refund. Patiently waited a week and nothing, so I decided to open a case with Marriott Global. They said they reached out to the property and we're going to process my refund in 7-10 days. Quiet and Relaxing Vacation

I booked the most basic garden view room through AMEX. The hotel kindly offered an upgrade to an ocean-view suite (super spacious, one living room, one bedroom), and gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne. The hotel staff were very helpful. The golf carts arrive timely to take us to places. When we ask for some water or towels in the room, they were very quick, as well. The amenities were very nice, too. We used the pool a few times and ordered drinks and food. The waitress serving the pool was welcoming and provided plenty of help fairly quickly. We also visited the boat house to use the complimentary paddle boards and kayaks. It was a good experience as well. Lastly, I saw many negative reviews about the restaurants in previous posts, so I was concerned before I visited. But my experience has been positive. It is true that there is only one restaurant open during weekdays, and the food was not Michelin-star worthy. But I think they provide solid dishes. If you plan to stay for more than 5 days, I suppose it could get very boring given they have only limited varieties. I also tried the restaurant in the golf club, called beach club. Food is nicer than Seagrapes. My only negative comment is that the chef (in the open kitchen) does not wear a mask when he cooks. I didn't get sick or anything, but would feel safer if he did wear a mask. I also want to say that this resort took COVID very very seriously. I also stayed in Ritz and Condado Vanderbilt during this trip. I think St. Regis has the most comprehensive preventive measures regarding COVID. But some guests may prefer running free in the resort (I personally prefer safety first). In that case, I don't recommend coming here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We stayed three nights in a garden jr suite, the room was amazing, the pool and the common spaces are really beautiful. All the staff at the hotel is excellent. I would have rated the stay 5 stars but the only problem for us was the food, there is just one restaurant open in the pool and beach area of the hotel and it was not good, the food was pretty mediocre. We had the opportunity to eat at the beach club, which is off the main hotel and they drive you up in gulf carts there, and the food was really good, but you could only eat there with previous reservation. Overall great hotel but needs major improvement in their food. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
