Despite its name, this historic hotel in downtown Vancouver is not affiliated with the St. Regis brand. But according to recent guests, The St. Regis Hotel is just as luxurious thanks to its attentive customer service and ample amenities. Rooms are outfitted with complimentary Fiji water (replenished daily), complimentary Wi-Fi access, L'Occitane toiletries and LCD TVs. But the free perks don't stop with the accommodations: Guests also receive a complimentary breakfast for two and complimentary daily passes to the Steve Nash Sports Club, located one block west of the hotel. And thanks to the hotel's central location, you'll be within walking distance to some of downtown Vancouver's best eateries — a perk recent guests said will be their main motivation for returning. If you'd rather stick close to the hotel, you'll also find a bar and grill on site, in addition to a steakhouse. No need to leave the property for your daily caffeine fix either; the St. Regis boasts its own Starbucks.

Critic Reviews

Independent, Canadian-owned The St. Regis Hotel is a boutique property occupying a heritage building in the heart of Vancouver's bustling business district.

Guest rooms retain historic details like the crown molding, baseboards, and windows that open, but with a contemporary coolness thanks to a soft gray palette, modern art, sleek furniture, and beautiful bathrooms with double sinks and miles of counter space.

It's the oldest continuously operating hotel in the city, but edgy, modern decor livens up the ... boutique property and Canadian artwork and select heritage furnishings gives it a unique sense of place.

Lonely Planet

Transformed in recent years, the St Regis is now an art-lined boutique sleepover in a 1913 heritage shell. Befitting its age, almost all the rooms seem to be a different size, and they exhibit a loungey élan with leather-look wallpaper, earth-toned bedspreads, flat-screen TVs and multimedia hubs.

Despite the 'St. Regis' name, this historic, mid-range boutique hotel in Downtown Vancouver is unaffiliated with the famous luxury brand. Rooms are on the small side for Vancouver, but they are cute and modern, and extras like free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and free long-distance calls add value.
