It’s nice. Clean. Good service. Big rooms.

My first time at St REGIS Houston for a business trip. The location was not very good. Nothing really located within walking distance for dinner. So stuck with the Remington Bar. Usually i choose a St REGIS for the St Regis bar. So i was disappointed with this one. Not as classy as others. Not a lot of comfortable seating. The wait service was just ok. The gym was good as it was mostly empty. Not much weight machines. But a nice little work out. Valet service guys were spot on. Over all ok experience. But will try something else next time. Understated Luxury, Friendly Staff

Stayed two nights here for a wedding. I was upgraded to a Grand Lux Room. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I didn't have a chance to eat or test out the amenities, but the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially the check-in folks. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Hotel

Great hotel. Beautiful lobby. Great location. Good service. Nice rooms. This is truly one of my favorite hotels. All staff we encountered went out of their way to assist us in every way possible, thoroughly enjoyed all 7 days of our trip here! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice people but poorly managed and tired, worn interior.

Arrived and had to wait in line only because they never issued by electronic key. Check in was okay. Hallways and rooms look 5 years past what should have been its renovation moment. Message light— called the operator and she said I had a breakfast letter. Told her I’d received at check in. 10 mins later light still on. Called again — she said there’s a second breakfast letter. Told her to have it sent up. Never arrived. Light stayed on. Called and said “please just turn it off. Food decent but scallops were awful. Frozen does that. Removed the cart and put do not disturb sign on door. 10 mins later houseman knocks. Incredulity. He knocks again. I asked what he wanted? He had brought toothpaste and shave kit. Told him that was in the room when I got here! And why would he knock when I’ve the DND sign on knob? Several miscues in first 1.5 hours. If decor had been anything better than that which would he used in a funeral home, they’d get a break. Also electronics are anachronistic. Need more modern chargers and a gut rebo! Another Excellent St. Regis Experience

Recently I stayed 2 nights at the Houston St. Regis. This property is one of two hotels I normally book when going to Houston. The St. Regis staff once again was on point providing excellent customer service from the Valet, Front Desk and Restaurant. I was so pleased to see that James was still working the breakfast shift in the Remington Restaurant. His level of service is top notch while not being intrusive or over bearing. Check in was easy thanks to Brad. My gold status enabled a room upgrade for me, which was most appreciated. The Remington Bar can get very crowded and VERY loud on a weekend. Our attempt to have an after dinner drink was not successful due to the size of the crowd and noise. The bar does have a seating area behind the bar where a wall does diminish the noise level somewhat. The challenge is getting service as line of sight to the bar staff is a bit difficult. I will continue to use the Houston St. Regis as one of my hotels of choice and once again highly recommend their property. The location can’t be beat. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
