We got a great, last minute rate! Got upgrade to Room 225 in the main Inn which was amazingly cozy with a gas fireplace. The sheets were luxurious and soft, the mattress and pillows wonderful. Very spacious and tastefully decorated. Staff was nice and very accommodating.Only thing missing is a coffee maker in the room. That’s kind of a big deal for a lot of people. Great location, walking distance to shopping, food and bars. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I drove to The Alchemist in Stowe, VT from MD. No real plans, just figured once I get there I’ll figure it out. Once I left The Alchemist I parked and did a search for a place to stay. The Stowe Inn came up with good reviews so I decided to stay there. Price was fantastic, the staff was superb, my room was upgraded and it had a wonderful view, super spacious and it was immaculately clean. Slept like a baby, bed was sooooo comfortable. Rm 210, not all beds are equal 🤣. Wifi signal while it was weak, it was solid for me to connect to vpn in my company. Overall I gave it a 4 out of 5. Only reason not higher is because I did t have a coffee or tea maker in room. I did have a fridge though. And a balcony with a rocking chair 😁 TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We absolutely loved the Stowe Inn! People were extremely kind. The hotel is so pretty and the rooms spacious. It is right in the middle of town, filled with excellent store fronts and restaurants. Thank you for a good stay! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

While the Staff were well-meaning and friendly, there was an aura of confusion that persisted our entire stay. The property is situated in a perfect location with easy access to the village and routes to many interesting attractions. Bearing this in mind, this Inn has real potential to be a star accommodation. Unfortunately, it misses the mark by a wide margin. The beauty of the main Inn is marred by it's lack of upkeep, which leaves it presenting as a bit shabby, and that continues into the rooms, which are in need of some T.L.C. The WIFI was spotty at best, and the continental breakfast offering compared to a Boy Scout summer camp I attended in the 1960's. A single 10 cup Mr. Coffee? Really? C'mon folks, hire a good manager, spruce the place up, and you can have a genuine gem that the location deserves. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Places to stay are priced extremely high in northern Vermont during this time of year. The Stowe Inn was more reasonably priced, but as with anything in life, you typically get what you pay for. The room was quiet enough, but not the most private since the curtains had large gaps on the sides and didn’t stay together in the middle very comfortably. We discovered in the morning after the light was shining through the curtains that you could easily see through them, and there was only one pull down blind on one of the two windows. The gravel parking lot was dark when we arrived, and we could barely see where to park - We had to look closely in the dark to see our room number to know where we were staying. The bathroom was tiny. The linoleum floor was in great need of being swept because of all the dirt tracked in from the gravel parking lot, and we discovered a lot of dirt on the bed spreads where dirt may have found a resting place from the wheels of luggage??? We slept ok, but this place is surely on the lower end of quality compared to what we prefer. In a nutshell, it simply met the need for a warm, dry place to sleep for the night. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
