Spacious rooms and excellent location!

Jul 10th, 2019

We stayed at Suites at Fisherman's Wharf for 3 nights recently. It was significantly better than we expected, based upon some of the reviews we read on TripAdvisor. Location can't be beat, the room was spacious and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms are slightly (and I really mean slightly) dated and the bathroom small..but the rest of the room (1 brim) had more than enough space for 2 adults and 2 teens. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Huge Apartment Style Room in Great Location

Jul 8th, 2019

This is the best place to stay when exploring San Fran! Great location within walking distance of The Fishermans Warf. There is a trolly stop out front as well as a bus stop if you don't have a car. We had a one bedroom apartment/suite and it was huge. Full kitchen with everything you would need (similar to renting a vrbo condo). Large living room with a couch that converted to a queen bed as well as an additional lounging chair. Balcony with chair and tables. Master room had a King bed. Bathroom was the only thing that was a little small but we did not mind. We are a family of four and we fit very comfortably in this room. The staff is so friendly and helpful! In addition to the big room our other favorite part was the rooftop deck. Amazing views from up there of both bridges and Alcatraz. We had a picnic dinner up there one night to enjoy the views during sunset. We did have a car and they do have parking for a small fee. Being a big city, the garage is very small, so getting our SUV in and out of the spots was nothing short of a miracle. Would definitely stay here again! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing location, better than expected

Jul 4th, 2019

I was a bit hesitant to book this place at first given the photographs of the property as it looked a bit dated. Typically we like to stay in a little higher end places but this just seemed to be a colossal waste of money given the price of hotel suites in San Francisco. With that being said, I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations at the suites at fisherman‘s wharf. We were given a one bedroom unit on the first floor with a city view in fact right across from world famous restaurant Gary Danko (If we were on the 3rd floor we would be able to see the bay, but it seems that all of the units are obstructed views except the very top floor). There is a fabulous balcony area on the roof with great views over the bay. Our unit certainly did look dated but was clean and adequate for our needs. The location was truly amazing you are only One block from Ghirardelli Square and a short walk to the waterfront fisherman’s wharf area, and literally right on the cable car line. Parking situation worked fine for us as we pretty much just used Uber or Lyft. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful at all times. If we return to San Francisco I would certainly consider staying here again TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

F.antastic Anniversary Getaway, A 4+

Jun 30th, 2019

Hubby and I decided San Francisco would be a wonderful place to celebrate our 35th anniversary. We had previously visited individually, but never together. We wanted to have a "tourist" experience. After a warm welcome from reception including a glass of champagne, we entered our home for the next four nights. Pleasantly surprised at the size. Unfortunately, no balcony, but we are on the quiet side away from the main street. The suite is nicely furnished and well stocked with kitchen necessities. The king bed is comfortable with plenty of pillows. Everything is impeccably clean. We can hear the occupants above us occasionally because the floor squeaks in places, but it's not intrusive. This speaks to the age of the building. Had they not been so considerate, there could have been a problem. The location is excellent. We had no problem walking to the piers and there is a cable stop just outside on the corner. There are plenty of amenities: self-serve laundry, filtered water, Friday night wine party, and the roof-top area has a million-dollar view. I read in some reviews that there were problems with staff. EVERYONE on the staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure our needs were met and exceeded. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely return. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
