Good Time at Venetian

Jan 16th, 2021

Did not come back here since Covid started. Suprise to see the Hotel was very clean and well prepared for Covid 19 with temperature check for all guests at the entrance, masks was provided, staffs cleaning constantly at the elevator, slot, etc....I felt very safe to stay here comparing other hotels on the strip. Noisy hallways and casino was slow to give drinks

Jan 12th, 2021

The room was beautiful and clean but the hallway was like someone unloaded a school bus of children in the hallway. I enjoyed the free parking, the staff was very pleasant and helpful except when I called front desk to verify check out time. I had to call reservations to get someone at the front desk because the phone would just ring. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Money trap

Jan 10th, 2021

Since we couldn't go to Italy as planned we thought the venetian would be a fun alternative. When I called they said they were having a promotion and that our room rates would be lower.....of course they didn't mention the additional $45 per day just for the privilege of walking around the resort whether you buy anything or not...nor the additional $400 they charged my card for anything we happen to charge to our room. With that much money taken we pretty much had no choice but to eat in their restaurants, well played. The restaurants average about $100 a meal for 2 people! The food was mediocre with the exception of buddy valastro. We booked a "luxury king suite " which costs a pretty penny bit is actually no bigger than a regular hotel room with no view because that would be even more money. The room came with the dreaded fridge with overpriced beverages that we didn't dare touch as well as several snacks on a table by themselves. There is no sign so touch at your own risk! There is a sensor that instantly charges you if you touch anything. Of course we found this out the hard way when we tried to figure out what this unusual looking container was. We picked it up just to see what it was, and apparently in plain view is a collection of sex items inside. $50 charge which we had to dispute. The casino is smack in the middle of everything and the entire building smells like smoke complete with prostitutes. So after paying the equivalent of 2 tickets to Europe we canceled the $400 massage and the $100 rock climbing. We as a result had alot of down time in our room with outlets and remote controls that didn't work, smelled like smoke and was covered in dust. Upon entering this establishment it appears to be beautiful but the longer you stay and get constantly hustled and harassed over and over by the vendors selling countless things you don't need, you are left angry, and with a much thinner wallet. My 1st time staying here but definitely not my last time.. Came to Vevas for a quick getaway and the Venetian did not disappoint. Very clean room, very pleasant staff....Comfortable beds, bathroom with a soaking notch! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
