Second Visit to Warwick Melrose Did not Disappoint.......

Jan 23rd, 2020

My wife and I stayed at the Warwick-Melrose - Dallas for a second time in January 2020. My wife owns a Ladies Boutique in Comfort, Texas, so she goes to the Dallas World Trade Center (WTC) for Market once or twice a year. We found the Warwick-Melrose last year and really like the hotel. Additionally, we use the trip to celebrate our Anniversary since the date is at the end of January. It is close to the WTC Market area (i.e. 5 minutes) and convenient to a number of good restaurants, etc. However, one of the best things about the hotel is that one does not even have to leave the hotel to get first a first class dinner and entertainment in the "Library Bar". We enjoyed listening to the Entertainment (i.e. pianists, Erik Barnes and Pat Peterson) and having a delicious dinner and drinks as well. The Library Bar Staff (Gad, Rosa, Amie, Catherine, and Kelly) are all great and keep things rolling with all of the customers. The valet parking is a bit pricey. The only negative i would have from this most recent visit, is the hotel is presently undergoing some renovations and had a musty smell due to the ongoing construction. The value of the hotel compared to others in the area is very reasonable and we plan to stay there again on our next trip for Dallas Market. In closing, my wife accidentally left behind some personal items in our room. We called the hotel , they notified Housekeeping, and Housekeeping found the items and then shipped then to our residence within a couple of days. Thank you, JJE TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent hotel- will return again@

Jan 17th, 2020

My son and I stayed here overnight and loved every bit of it! The hotel is wonderfully appointed and the staff was phenomenal. The beds were so comfortable and everything was pristine and our room was not one that had been remodeled from my understanding - but sure looked like it! Valet is a bit pricey ($27) but was worth it for such a late arrival for us. And the valets were so kind. Side note- our room faced the historic UMC and we loved hearing the bells ring♡ Thank you for the wonderful stay! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Remodeling in process. Paint fumes and dust in room overwhelming. Shower drain stopped up. Standing in nastiness. Something loose on outside of building hitting the wall all night. Boring crew out next door for drilling pilings. Hammering and diesel engine revving 530am. $30 unadvertised valet. No self park. Nice place. Bad experience. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Lovely Boutique Hotel

Jan 13th, 2020

From check-in to Check-out, everything was perfect! Stayed in a corner room (525) and had a wet bar, dinning area and living area, separate be room with big modernized bathroom. The Library Bar was awesome. Great drinks carefully prepared by well trained bartenders. Breakfast in the Landmark Restaurant was great. Eggs, sausage and asparagus were prepared to perfection. Great hotel and staff! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Worst serviceEver Nelson The Valley is horrible

Jan 7th, 2020

Room was nasty, not clean I found a roach in the bathroom twitching. Nelson The vallet would not even allow us to charge a phone cause he was charging his and then locked his charger up in front of us and laughed. The check in was a laugh and rude. Believe me I will dispute this crud. Don’t room here.... TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
