at the The Waterfront Beach Resort, A Hilton Hotel

Me and my husband had a wonderful visit this March to the Hilton in Huntington Beach. The room was clean and the service was prompt. Especially loved our helpful valet Isabel, “with one L.” 10/10 would stay here again! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This is my second time staying here and I will definitely be back a third time. The hotel is directly across the street from Huntington Beach, you can see the surf, Catalina Island and surfers from your room. The Hotel is very nice, large pool, several restaurants and a very nice spa. Food in the resturants is excellent but the room service menu is somewhat limited. The hotel is only a short walk from dozens of shops, restaurants and the classic downtown area of the origional surf city. Rooms are a cut above what you expect from a Hilton hotel but not true luxury. Get a ocean facing room with a balcony and for the price you can't go wrong. Highly recommended. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
AWSOME customer service !

I’ve been to this hotel multiple times with my family and I loved it, however I stopped going because of an issue I had with the valet manager not comping my parking because of my aunt who was handi-cap. Luckily front desk was very generous and accommodating to help us out and take care of our parking. I recently decided to go again for the rooftop bar and it was like a whole new valet experience. Josh the manager greeted us with the biggest smile and was very friendly with our arrival. Jazzy is probably one the nicest souls I’ve ever met and is the reason why I decided to give this place another shot. I’m glad they are more customer service driven because I really enjoy this hotel. Thanks again Josh and Jazzy! I will definitely be visiting again soon again this summer! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great Location, Average Staff, Dated Rooms
Mar 9th, 2020
Check-in staff not very helpful at all. As a Hilton Diamond Member, asking for an upgrade was first denied, but went back down to speak to another associate and found ample room type upgrades. Even then, was still hard to get one. Not a ton of value as a Diamond at this property. Rooms are EXTREMELY dated. Carpet tears and wallpaper badly peeling in the bathroom. Great location and ocean view rooms capture a great sunset. Amenities looked great, but did not use. I would look for other options on my next visit most based on my interaction with the front desk staff. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
“ Beach view and easy access to downtown”
Mar 8th, 2020
First, the location and hotel are a 5! This is a lovely hotel with rooms that are spacious, comfortable and offer private Balcony ocean views. We used points so some of the nickel and diming charges mentioned in a few reviews did not have an overt impact on a us. All said the $42 valet parking with no self parking option seems a little steep. The hotel offers several eating and bar options . We enjoyed an excellent dinner at Henry’s and it was very nice not to leave the hotel after an exhausting drive. We also had a delicious cheese plate in the lobby bar. Overall service quality is attentive and friendly. The hotel is an easy walk to nearby restaurants and the charming downtown. Nice to start your day with a short walk to breakfast at Tanners and another great ocean view. Most of your mainline hotel chains seem friendly to friends with accessible needs. This is certainly true of this site. My only complaint is that if you are a business traveler and wanting free, secure internet access, this is not a good choice. Otherwise, I highly recommend the Waterfront Beach Resort. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
