When God Moves!

My first visit made me a lifetime family member. As an essential worker I was in need of a serious staycation. I truly believe God sent me to this hotel at the time He chose. D.O.O Mr. Dixon is a true God send! I was having a truly difficult time between a horrible birthday experience at a different hotel and life with patients dying of COVID-19 at alarming rates. Upon arrival there was an unintended mix up and I began to feel disappointed. Thankfully before a tear could fall, a man filled with professional and heartfelt compassion approached me with what I call extinct but real Customer Service that was beyond the call of duty. Not only was the issue solved but I was made to feel like I was incredibly special during a time that I was completely burned out. My upgraded room was comfy, quiet and nothing short of amazing. I was able to relax and reset my mind to be able to give the same treatment to my patients, when I returned to work the next day after checkout. The food I received was amazing...fresh egg omelette, juicy sweet fruit and amazing hot breakfast potatoes. The ambience of the calming water and lights was incredible even in the midst of the cold weather. All of the staff made me feel special and important. They followed suit of their leadership. I once thought good ole customer service was no more, but Mr. Dixon proved that there was still amazingly genuine, God given people in this industry. I not only had an amazing staycation, I had a life changing experience. I am forever grateful and I have decided to make this location my once a month staycation location. We so often don’t acknowledge what is great due to focusing on all of the chaos of the world. Well TODAY I SALUTE Mr. Dedo Dixon and The Westin at Perimeter Mall ! When you take care of people like me in my time of need, it creates a domino effect, where I can give my best to all those in need who depend on me and my counterparts to be able to help save lives and keep others feeling better. It’s a time where we all need peace of mind, compassion and a reset more often than usual. If you are looking for excellent hospitality, a comfortable bed, great food and peaceful surroundings...I recommend coming to this location, where they will make you feel just like you have a home away from home! The new Operations Manager, Dedo Dixon, has worked a miracle!

Westins were supposed to amaze, but when I visited this one in September, it was a hot mess inside a dumpster fire. I wrote a scathing review and was about to check out after only one night, but the entire management team jumped in to change my mind. They met me every day at breakfast for a chat. They deep cleaned my room. They got serious about Covid. They promised that the improvements would keep coming under the direction of the new Operations Manager, Dedo Dixon, and they encouraged me to come back. When I returned in December 2020 it was remarkable to how much things had changed. Covid guidelines for masking up were in place. When an errant guest tried to sidestep the policy, the front desk team quickly remedied the situation in a friendly, non-confrontational way that ensured compliance. My room was infinitely cleaner. So much so that I asked if the drapes had been cleaned and to my utter surprise, they had! The front desk staff was more attentive, pleasant and helpful, a marked change from September. The restaurant, already the sterling jewel of the hotel thanks to the incredible staff, was as wonderful as ever. I felt safe, valued and the food was good. Dedo is truly all that. He told me were were family and that he would set the ship right. He did it, with humor, compassion and a santa hat :-) I had an incredible stay and am looking forward to my March visit. Best job I have seen during Covid so far

I had to go to Atlanta for a quick business acquisition and the scheduling required me to overnight. I called around to full service properties and the Westin told me what they were doing for elites and services. I booked a suite, and when I arrived they were ready for me. The lobby was a little busy but it's a nice lobby. As an Elite I got complimentary breakfast. When I got to my room, it was HUGE. I went down to the bar and had wings (my favorite) and a couple of drinks. I walked around the business park and lake right outside. Very pleasant atmosphere and area. I then went back to my room and slept, well. The next morning I got up, cleaned up and went down for breakfast. The food was really good, and it's been so long since I've actually had FOOD at a sit down establishment (Minnesota is all kinds of locked down). The food, the coffee (which sometimes can be a challenge) was really good and filling. I enjoyed sitting there and savoring my food. It was so close to normal, I was, and still am, wallowing in the experience. Blew me away and over delivered any expectations I had coming there. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Beat My Expectations Great Service!!

First my room beat my expectation Maria and Yogedinka did an Outstanding Job! Our Breakfast was served almost daily by Merdie who always managed to find my favorite creamer for my coffee without me asking, she made my breakfast Special. Dedo who I believe is the Director of Operations the Ladies at the front Desk and Fred, always served me & my wife with a smile, & with prompt and professional service. When Dedo was off on his off days, the front desk was different, he keeps all his Guest laughing & smiling he is Great. We felt like we were with Family, and we will be back. Thanks again! Hotel with excellent service and amenities during COVID

My wife and I have been staying at this property about once a month over the last 6 months during Covid times. This is one of the few, if not only hotels, recognizing Marriott status where we received breakfast. Other hotels in the area do not have any dining options, except for some bar food perhaps. However, regardless of status and amenities, what stood out was the excellence of the staff. They are all good from the front desk to restaurant roles. Mr. Dedo Dixon is a true gem who treated us warmly, respectfully, and like a long time friend. It is always refreshing to see a familiar smiling face greeting us everytime we checked in to the hotel. Mr. Dedo would be reason enough to book a stay at this property. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
