Best hotel experience ever!

The customer service and care was fantastic. They were kind and accommodating. The room was unbelievably nice and extremely clean. The pool and hot tub were extremely relaxing. It was a comfortable place to stay especially during these times. I will be recommending the Westin to everyone I know. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Awesome Stay!

The customer service here is phenomenal 👌 I walked in and got greeted with smiles in the lobby. The Urban Restaurant Breakfast was fantastic! Will definitely recommend this hotel. Great location, great food, and amazing customer service from the housekeepers, to front desk, and the servers 😉 TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Are the misses because of COVID? Or is that just the excuse?

If you need a room in a great location for restaurants and shopping, this is a good deal. One of the lowest rates for a Westin branded property I have ever paid. With that said, be aware, you are probably getting what you pay for because there were a series of small issues with my experience. The communication between front desk staff was inconsistent. If you don't like the answer you get from one, just ask another employee an hour later as there is confusion about what they can and can't do "because of COVID." If you are at any loyalty level with Marriott, you can forget about any benefits here, no upgrades available "because of COVID," no breakfast, no lounge access "because of COVID." Maybe that is all legitimate, but this is my second stay at a Westin during COVID and no matter what I asked for or about, it was always met with why they couldn't do something because of COVID. When we arrived to our room, the toilet was running, It wasn't the typical light sound most of us are familiar with when the seal is leaky, it was almost like there was a missing stopper and it was overflowing it was so loud. Why didn't the housekeeping team notice this when the room was last cleaned? So at 11:30 at night, we are waiting for engineering to arrive to fix it because we can't change rooms, "because of COVID." In addition, there were many stains on the carpet in common areas, hallways and in the room; again I ask, why isn't this addressed by housekeeping? In good news, we were given late check-out, but prior to that time, they locked our rooms so our keys did not work. Why would you do that? If it had been after the time you confirmed, I understand, however it was not. In the end, none of my issues were a big deal as a stand-alone, but when there are a series of small things, it makes you ask what else has been shortcutted "because of COVID?" My advice, lower your expectations of what you expect from Westin at this property and plan for the "because of COVID" catch-all explanation of why things are not right if you decide to stay here. great place for a quick staycay

We stayed here one night over the weekend for a friend's socially distanced covid birthday celebration, and let me tell you... we enjoyed every second of our stay. front desk agents Dahlia and Cherice (or maybe Chenice) were super attentive/informative/helpful. all covid precautions/protocols were properly in place and we felt safe and relaxed the entire time. pool was great. we spent A LOT of time there. if you know Austin you know the Domain has it all... Westin is within walking distance to literally everything. and even with the unbearable TX summer heat, we easily walked around in the evening without risking heat stroke/exhaustion lol. if you DONT know Austin... then definitely stay here. you wont regret it. already looking forward to our next stay here.
