RUDE

Jan 8th, 2020

Islam is a rude lady and turned me away after I already prepaid for my room. She refuse to use my debit card for deposit and refused to refund my money. I drove 2 hours to be turned away for a room I already paid for. I contacted Priceline where I book my room thru. Priceline was hang up on when she realize he was calling for me. I was able to get me room after a hour going back and forth. I threaten to call corporate then my debit card was NOW accepted. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A heavenly reminder

Jan 5th, 2020

I recently stayed at the Westin during my trip to DC. I had stayed at 2 previous Westin's over 15 years ago and it quickly became my favorite hotel chain. I got a reminder all these years later by staying at this location. Located on a few minutes from Washington DC the Westin offers extremely comfortable rooms that are immaculate. After I parked my car in the garage I took the elevator up to the beautiful hotel lobby and checked in with no problem. The bed inside the room was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. Within a few minutes I had my complementary bath robe, which was comfortable. After a good night's sleep I enjoyed the shower and then the breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant, which cost $19 a person. I checked out at 12pm, which is almost unheard of today and concluded that the Westin Crystal City is my preferred hotel in the DC area. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good stay

Dec 29th, 2019

We stayed at The Westin from December 26-28, 2019, in what was supposed to be a premium room. For the life of us, we cannot figure out what was premium about this room. They claim the premium rooms are on a higher floor but we were on floor 9 out of 16. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were horrible. They should invest in better pillows. It would be nice if everyone received free in-room wifi. We choose the parking package, called in advance to inquire how it works. We were told to pull up to the front of the hotel, come in and check in, fill out a form with the car information, then proceed to the garage. Prior to entering garage, received a parking ticket that we then had to take back to the front desk to be linked to the room. This was so the car would not be ticketed and/or towed. This was really a hassle. The hotel really needs a better system for those who choose the parking package. We found this very inconvenient. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Decent hotel close to metro

Dec 23rd, 2019

Loved it here. Very convenient and waaaay cheaper than staying in the city. The metro is right around the corner so it’s super convenient. We are gold members and were treated very well. Offered free food and drinks upon arrival. The room was very comfortable, nice bathroom with waterfall shower. I can’t complain !! Will visit and use again TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Highly Impressed

Dec 21st, 2019

Front Desk I was checked in early by Jason and checked out late by Ella. Many thanks to both of them for this privilege which already counts big in my book. But, the hotel has several other pluses… Location If you are a metro user like me, you will like the Westin’s location. When you walk out of Crystal City Metro Station, cross 18th St. and you are at the hotel. This metro station is only one stop from Reagan National Airport. The hotel also provides a complimentary shuttle to this airport. Going out of the hotel, if you proceed a few blocks to the left on S Eads and reach 23rd St., there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. I have reviewed one of them separately. There is also a 7 Eleven. On 24th St. you will find a CVS. Nearer options? The metro shops are there. Something even nearer? The hotel has a lobby bar and restaurant. Back to the Hotel Westin Crystal City gives a boutique hotel feeling. The complimentary fruit infused water in the lobby and the Starbucks coffee in the room are considerate additions. I found the room welcoming with white linen and quirky furnishings. High end amenities in the bath room and the rain head shower are features worth mentioning. I enjoyed my short stay at this hotel.
