I stayed at the Westin for 4 days for business. This hotel FAR exceeded my expectations! I’m used to run off the mill hotels that neither disappoint nor “wow”... this is definitely NOT the case here! The hotel is beautiful and has great ambience. The rooms are well appointed and beds are comfortable. The food is VERY good and the staff is WONDERFUL! I can’t say enough about how great this stay has been! Top notch! Highly recommend! Will definitely return! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
A little QA would go along way

This has been my goto since they renovated late last year. Ive now had six different rooms with similar experiences. I am Titanium and received a suite. The heat was not working and the service guy did not assess the issue correctly. Called manager on duty and further service revealed defective heating unit. Got moved to another room. Turned on lamp that could not possibly be plugged in. Why you ask? No electrical outlet on wall. The elevators are out of control. This issue has been going on since last October. Four elevators, 2 broken and the other 2 take between 5-7 minutes to arrive. That is an F grade on what is really a nice place. Someone is not paying attention to room functionality or the elevators. I stay an average of 12-26 weeks a year traveling. Please get your act together. New club is very nice and food is good. Front desk is hit or miss. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Renovations and customer service

We have stayed at this property in the past. Our last stay was very disappointing. I'm not sure I would recommend the property in terms of customer service. There was an active renovation going on. (this is understandable--and not related to the poor experience) We stayed for an anniversary. When we shared that with the staff, they were not interested. Every other time we've stayed at a Westin for a special occasion in the past, they offered SOMETHING. This was odd to us--so we even asked if they had any thing for anniversaries. (This property has comped and delivered dessert in the past, offered a larger room, offered breakfast vouchers, etc. Each visit was different but very high level of customer service) This was part of why we stayed! The staff was kind of confused at our request. They said they "didn't really have anything to offer". We've never had that kind of service at a Westin. I don't know if we would risk another stay. New and clean..super quiet at night even near airport. Very good breakfast and Bonvoy Platinum evening snacks. Good parking but entrance is on Esthers, not SH114. Friendly service. I was on the 2nd floor. All the rooms are clean. Repairs done quickly. Good rates for a Westin. Not too bad to get to Irving/Las Colinas area. Traffic can stink at the typical times. This hotel has a full bar, restaurant, pool etc. The room was very nice. My bed was very comfortable and it had a nice, heavy comforter too. Lots of nice pillows. TV had plenty of choices, including built-in Smart-TV apps like Hulu, Netflix, etc. The shower has a rainfall head and a handheld wand. The room was clean, quiet and has a refrigerator, coffee maker, safe, etc. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
