Where has all the service gone?

Feb 17th, 2020

We have owned and visited this “resort” since it opened. This was the worst experience we have had at a Westin Resort ever. Where to start. 1) check in took over 3 hours. Normally 30 minutes. I was told they were full but with half the parking lot empty and no one at the pool hard to believe. I would have thought they could have called housekeeping and got the room ready in minutes not hours. 2) we were informed the restaurant no longer served breakfast. Note-this is called a resort how does a resort not have food service in the am? 3) oh and by the way the restaurant closes at 7 pm which includes the bar. Again a resort property without a restaurant or bar past 7 pm. Hard to believe. 4) service at the pool (not the main one but the one closest to out unit) did not has service. There is more but you get the gest. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Visit

Stayed for a weekend getaway with the wife. Very pleased with our stay. Kitchenette in the room, nice for not having to eat out for every meal. Room was very clean. Room service on time every day. Will be back next time we're in town. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice Place to Visit

Feb 16th, 2020

We visit the area yearly in February. Wanted to extend our trip, so we booked here for 5 days. Arrived 9:00 pm due to delayed plane. Unit is smaller the Marriott Desert Springs. Comfortable bed. Air Conditioner needed to be fixed. Not really working. Called and workers came quickly. Now, it is working. My only negative......15.00 per day to park. Consider this Marriott. We enjoyed our time here. Not sure we will return. Why pay to park? This was an adventure. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfect for golfers

Feb 16th, 2020

We arrived pretty late to this resort after a drive from LA and visiting Joshua Tree NP (which is by the way an absolute must), and were a bit surprised that the restaurant closed already at 7 PM. When getting into our two very large suites with adjoining doors we discovered why: This resort is based primarily on self catering in the large full kitchens and probably long term stays by golfers. Nice place, but better if you're a golfer. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice Visit

Lovely resort with nice villas. Afternoon events fun, too. Great location for hiking and shopping. We went to Joshua Tree National Park during the day to hike and at night to stargaze. Absolutely wonderful. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
