Terrific Stay

Jul 10th, 2019

I had a terrific stay at the Westin Huntsville. I liked the location of the hotel, as it is tucked in as part of the Bridge Street Town Center. This makes the hotel more secluded and cozy. In addition, it makes guests feel safe to walk around the hotel's immediate premises during the evening time. My room was gorgeous and spacious. I liked the bathroom, as it featured double sink vanities together with a shower and gorgeous tub. I also liked the kitchenette in my room. The front desk staff were all nice and friendly. I enjoyed my stay at the Westin. As usual, Westin hotels always exceed my expectations. I am sure I will come back to this location as well as continue staying at Westin hotels in other cities. Disappointing

Jul 8th, 2019

We stayed over the weekend and paid almost $400 (after taxes) for the package that included breakfast. The room was clean and the location was good. However, everything that was complementary or included with the rate seemed to be hard to access. Upon check in, nobody told us anything about the facilities of the hotel. Also there is no map of the property, so you kinda have to figure out where everything is. No instructions on how to connect to wi-fi, no covered parking. While extra bedding for the pullout couch was available upon request, they were not in a hurry to answer the phone for us to submit the request. There was no information about the area where the hotel is located and no concierge (or if there was one, nobody told us about it). Then we had to witness a customer being kicked out of the bar area because he was eating a sandwich that wasn’t purchased there (and then he was allowed to come back to join his friends and finish his drink). The worst part was their breakfast buffet. Before you go to get your food, there is a mandatory stop by the front desk, which took us good 15-20 min. When we were finally seated, we got the food that was lukewarm and didn’t taste good. I had to go and look for a waitress to get some drinks and knives to go with our breakfast. By the time we were over a half way done with our food, a waitress finally brought our drinks (no knives) and asked if we needed any ketchup, which would be nice to get before my kid finished his hash browns. All in all, it would be a good value if this package costed $250 (after taxes). After all, the room was decent and the location was good. However, they should not claim that they are “a company that takes great pride in taking care of its guests,” as they cut corners and try to do as little as possible for their customers. You are forced to contact the front desk for every little thing you need, while they are not in a hurry to help. Bottom line, this package is not worth $320. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Almost Paradise

Jul 7th, 2019

This is probly the cleanest hotel I have been to. We stayed because we had been painting our living room, all day, and needed a respite from the paint fumes. We actually make a point of going at least 2 times, during the summer, to pretend we went somewhere. It is a fun hotel, classy, and has a nice pool vibe. There are always restaurant choices, close by. The front desk and bell hops are great. The only down is the breakfast, at Sage Grille. If you can just go ahead with the buffet, you will be fine. Ordering from the menu is a mistake, on the weekends. We keep thinking they will be prepared for customers, but they do not seem to be able to handle groups or, basically the weekend crowd. I had to wait an hour for my breakfast (mostly because of the large group before us) and because the eggs benedict was not cooked to order and had to be sent back. However, when it did finally arrive it was very good/albeit cold, and my husband had gone to pack for check out. Anyway, we will not be deterred. It was an over all lovely night. The many upgrades to the hotel are appreciated and I will say again, that the pool was fun. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location

A very nice hotel. The concierge was wonderful. He is the reason I would return. Breakfast was delicious. the only downside was that the pools were being renovated and therefore not open. Other than that I would highly recommend this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing Property with Great Location

Jun 27th, 2019

This property is amazing in itself, but also within a few steps from shopping, dining, entertainment. The resort staff is amazing including the restaurant/bar and also breakfast bar. I have high standards for a resort and this met all of them. The property is clean, well managed, and ready for guests. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
