Great customer service
Cramped bathrooms
With its waterfront location, The Westin Nova Scotian is perfectly located for travelers looking to explore Halifax's maritime sites, including the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21. But what visitors love the most about this Westin is its dedication to quality customer service. Many previous guests praised the friendly demeanor of the Westin's staff. After enjoying some sightseeing, retreat to your comfortable accommodations, furnished with a signature Heavenly Bed, 32-inch LCD TV and complimentary Internet access. Though some guests did describe the bathrooms as slightly cramped, most praised the rooms for being clean and spacious. Past visitors also recommended sampling the food at the Westin's two restaurants, Roy's Lounge and Elements on Hollis, which serves up classic dishes with a twist (think: salmon over cucumber and watercress with kale chips). And because this hotel is part of the Marriott hotel family, Marriott Bonvoy members can earn and use points here.
