My family and i stayed from 2/24-2/26 at the Westin Riverfront and was amazed at the wonderful level of service Great attention to details from all staff, especial praise goes to the front desk staff: Chris, Veronica, Devan, Victor, Tabby and to Marla at the concierge desk . Absolutely fantastic and friendly professional staff. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A very good Westin

Jan 10th, 2020

This hotel had many attractive attributes including a beautiful setting, good food, easy access to the ski area and restaurants, a beautiful outdoor heated salt water pool and fitness center/spa. Glitches included a lack of housekeeping so that rooms were not available until 4 pm, slow inexperienced staff, and inconvenient self parking which almost compels you to use valet. The rooms are comfortable and the views beautiful and so overall it was a good experience. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Tabby Makes this Property 6 Stars

Jan 4th, 2020

We’ve been coming to this property for years. The rooms and amenities are amazing. The staff is very accommodating. Tabby makes this property our second home. She treats us like family. We will be coming back for years to come. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Like the weather, unpredictable & constantly changing

Dec 3rd, 2019

Have not stayed in Westin properties much/decided to use almost 250k Bonvoy/Marriott Rewards points to stay for five nights over the Thkgiving break, and left Sat underwhelmed by our stay. Since my wife is a lifetime Titanium Elite member upgrades are supposed to happen if avail, but a room overlooking a construction sight/nonoperating lift on side of property isnt much of an upgrade. The front desk staff ranged from clueless to poorly trained with Tabby trying to save the day as we checked out, but the front of the house needs major retraining and additional staffing. It may have to do with some of the units are privately owned so we felt that as non owners or regulars, we were an after thought ...also a pet peeve since it was a Holiday weekend that senior management staff would be out and about to meet/greet guests, but alas not one in sight near check in. But there is good news.... The folks at Mayan from Pat (a true fine example of Westin hospitality) and Raquel, and Veronica/Jose in room service are excellent. Our daughter suffered from alt sickness and could not leave the room for days, and the inhouse dining crew took great care and became regulars in our room. In addition, Gino and his crew out front are on it, whoever designed the arrival area was shortsighted since 4 suv's fills the area, but the guys out front move em in/out with dispatch and we never waited for our vehicle. Spent Thkgiving morning in the spa, it is by far the best part of the hotel, treatments were excellent and the facilities (locker rooms) are top tier. Daughter had facial last day and also raved of the service....We did use the concierge desk for local information but unfortunately found some of the info/suggestions as incorrect or data for local vendors as not current. So all in all, a mixed bag that probably would not have us return. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Thanksgiving in the mountains

Dec 2nd, 2019

First time in this area and this hotel was great overall. Very good location close to Vail and directly across the street from Beaver Creek Village. The views from room 815 were amazing and the service was very good. The gym is amazing. Only downside was only one elevator was working and there needs to be more amenities for kids like a game room. The Mexican restaurant Mayas was decent for breakfast but dinner was not that great and was overpriced. There are much better food choices around the area. Overall great stay and we would come back again! The photo is the view from our room! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
