Perfect Stay

My fiance was attending a 2 day conference at this hotel and luckily I was able to tag along. We were upgraded to a suite that was bigger than my old 1 bedroom apartment, with a full kitchen and two bathrooms. We had a large balcony overlooking the courtyard and pool. The hotel is fabulously decorated and the staff courteous and friendly. Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. We were greeted with some delicious sparkling wine and a piece of cake as they were celebrating their 1 year anniversary with the Bonvoy program and every day around 5 pm they have a free wine tasting. We loved to hand around the fire at the courtyard. It is well situated, within walking distance to Downtown and the market! It is definitely a great place to stay while visiting Napa. A perfect anniversary trip

The Westin Verasa was the perfect accommodation for our 30th anniversary trip to Napa Valley. Royce with the concierge made sure every day was special and was helpful in booking exactly what we wanted. All of the staff, from Valets to restaurant wait staff to the front desk and housekeeping, was exceptional. Comfortable and Quiet

We enjoyed our stay at the Westin. The staff was friendly, clean and helpful, the wine tasting was great and the atmosphere was great, though the property is a bit dated. The suite and patio were an added bonus. Overall, highly recommended! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location, service issues

My husband and I have stayed at Westin Verasa many times before - it used to be our favorite hotel when in Napa. This is the first time we've stayed here with our 2 year old and we ran into a number of service issues. PROs: Location is still perfect - right next to Oxbow, walking distance to downtown restaurants and tasting rooms, and now we're also appreciating the wide open Oxbow commons area with well maintained lawn and pathways for the little one to romp around. Our King bedroom suite was well equiped, and we had a good experience at the restaurant on several occasions. CONs: Not sure if it's a recent issue or if it's just something we're really noticing with a toddler in tow, but there were several issues with service and facilities that put a dent in the experience. -Day 1: Check in was initially smooth, but upon discovering that our balcony sat right over the very loud HVAC system, we asked for a room change and this is where the fun began. It took almost 45 minutes for the next room to be ready, and then we waited almost another 30 minutes for the bellhop to move our stuff (not traveling light with a toddler!) until we gave up and moved our things ourselves and cancelled the bellhop. The new room was smaller with a less ideal setup, and the balcony looked out into a hallway, but we settled since we didn't want to risk any further delays. We enjoyed the soak in the hot tub after putting the baby down for the night, but struggled with the jets (whenever it timed out the button had to be pushed for 30 seconds+ at a time for a random number of times before it engaged). -Day 2: I asked the front desk for help on making the bed more comfortable as it was very very firm for me - maybe a mattress topper? Another duvet to use as cushion? The bag that housekeeping brought contained three separate, thin blankets, none of which would add any softness. I went ahead and folded the duvet that was already in the room and placed it under the sheet, added one of the blankets from the mystery grab bag, and turned the temperature up a couple of degrees and called it a night. Our room was also not serviced when we returned around 6PM. My husband was not happy about it, but I told him to let it go as we needed to put the baby down soon. Lastly, everything in the mini-fridge froze solid overnight - milk, wine, beers, fruit, and cheese. -Day 3: We had put the do not disturb sign out from 1-3PM for our baby's nap, and received a notice that our room was skipped during hoursekeeping rounds. We called just after 3PM to ask our room to be serviced. To our disappointment, when we returned around 6:30PM, the room has not been serviced. My husband called to complain and the hotel offered to send service asap. But we needed to start putting the baby down around 7PM, so we settled for some fresh towels, coffee, and waters. -Day 4: We were about to have brunch in the lobby around 10:15, when I had a moment and remembered reading somewhere that the checkout time had changed from noon to 11am. My husband went to the front desk to inquire and try to get an extension to noon if possible. He was told a very firm no. We had to abandon the brunch so that we can rush back to the room to complete the packing and check out. As a couple traveling with a kiddo now we really liked the suite set up, and don't mind paying a bit extra for it. But I'm genuinely disappointed with the service issues, and will be looking at other options next time. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Best hotel in Napa!

Currently writing this review from the balcony of our 3rd floor king bedroom suite with separate living room and kitchen. Everything about our stay at the Westin Napa has been perfect. From the valet staff, check in, to Royce-Anne at the concierge desk everyone has been so kind. My fiancé has Titanium status with Marriott Bonvoy and the hotel was fantastic about recognizing the status with a 2 category room upgrade + breakfast. The Westin is a very short walk to loads of tasting rooms and restaurants eliminating the need to drive. Overall we both can’t wait to come back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
