Great time and location!

I travel to Singapore quite a bit and have stayed at the more traditional hotels. However, this time I decided to stay in a different part of town. The decor is very specific and can see how it can turn people off, however, I found it to be just different enough not to be weird. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Close to tons of great food and MRT. Special thanks to: Skip and Shah who made amazing drinks at the bar. Skip, that spicy drink you made me needs to make it on the menu! Shah, it was a pleasure watching you make drinks and just loved your overall attitude. Aldora and Rosanna you made my food experience amazing every morning. Thank you for all of the hard work and attentiveness. Thank you for the amazing stay! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Westin hotels remain a treat

We are former SPG members (now Marriott Bonvoy) and love most of the Westin properties. Easy access from the airport, we have stayed here multiple time when leaving and departing for international destinations. The lobby is generous and both the rooms and bathrooms are wonderful. Too boot, the price is very reasonable given the amenities and service you receive. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent accommodations

Attend a conference here last week. I loved everything about the accommodations. The shuttle service was prompt and efficient and both drivers I had were friendly. I originally reserved a double queen room because that was part of the group room rates, but per an early check-in request I was able to secure a single king room. It was wonderful. The hotel was quiet and every single staff encounter was friendly. I enjoyed 1 meal at the bar, the open space was really nice. Pleasant stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent Stay

I stayed two nights at The Westin Washington Dulles hotel, to avoid the daily commute from Maryland that I am challenge with every day. After booking, in early June, I was a little leery, because of some of the bad review. I must say, of all the hotels I have stayed in, in VA, to get away from the commute, this is one of the best. The front desk staff was very courteous, the room was very modern and clean, love the shower and the view. I will most definitely stay here again, for the right deal. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not a family friendly hotel. Racist staff

We stayed at this hotel because of the proximity to IAD. I have always experienced great hospitality from Westin hotels, and in the past have given 5 stars all around on TripAdvisor. However, I experienced one of the most humiliating incidence at this hotel last night. I had called twice before our arrival to ensure if the hotel would provide a crib and hot water for my infant. Unfortunately, we received neither. I was ill advised by the agent who answered my phone last week, that should I need water, they would bring it to the room. They would not provide a microwave or a kettle. When I called, I was rudely asked to come get it myself from the bar. I went down with my baby in my arms and waited 15 minutes at the bar, surrounded by drinking patrons, with no help. Then I asked the gentleman at the front desk if he would please assist me. He looked at our skin color and flatly refused. He said that I should go back to the bar. When I gently reminded him that I was told warm water would be brought to the room, he took one look at my crying baby, and said that he would give us some water for a charge. His colleague standing beside him was immediately uncomfortable and rushed to get us this simple request, and apologized for his horrid behavior. The shocking part was when he stated to me that he was the manager and no one at the hotel was above him. He proceeded to ask my room number and follow me to the elevator. I was terrified at this point as I wasn’t sure if this man was on some sort of drugs to behave in this fashion. I am beyond disappointed that Westin would hire such a person in a managerial position. When I called later to request a toothbrush, to my misfortune this same agent, John answered. We waited an hour and called again, and was told by Cherie at the front desk that he never put the request through. I obviously have to conclude that this was deliberate. I have contacted the corporate office to ensure no one else will be treated like this. This same week we stayed at the Ritz Carlton Tysons and Sheraton Tysons. These are sister Marriott properties that took wonderful care of our family. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
