Staycation

View from the room was great and love the option to leave your guest's name at the front desk so they can pick up a key to go up to the room themselves. Elevators are very slow and because of COVID, occupancy is limited so it may take a while for you to go up and down. If you are scared for extra minibar room charges, ask ahead of time for them to remove it. They were happy to do so! My only negative comment would be room service breakfast was a fancier version of airplane food. Not worth it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Came here for the reputation, will not be coming back. Check in could not have been less accommodating, admittedly I was early and seeking shelter and/or suggestions while waiting for the room - the desk was rude and not interested in offering advice. Was unable to get a reservation at Westlight, rather was told to ask the Host for a table. We were given a table, but asked to leave after 45 minutes since we didn't have a reservation and "other parties" might be coming. The restaurant was not at capacity nor were other parties waiting for tables, we were simply kicked out after 45 minutes. Room was one step below a suite, yet incredibly small and not the quality I'd expect for the Hotel's reputation. Heat did not maintain full temperature, balcony door was a struggle to close, bed was low to ground and too close to TV. My stay was overpriced for the lack of quality and failure to uphold reputation. I will not be back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Amazing Views, Gorgeous Rooms, Kind Staff

This hotel is such a gem in Brooklyn. I've been to the hotel for multiple events and for drinks/dinner at West Light, but this was my first time staying overnight. The rooms are gorgeous. Each has their own balcony and view of either BK, NYC, or both! It's an amazing staycation spot for those in NYC and Brooklyn, and I couldn't recommend it more for anyone visiting the area! Pillowcases has stains, New set of sheets that was HANDED to us had a tear. The bathroom was smelling extremely funky. There was a hole on the bed frame. The comfortable was stained as well. The security guard who gave us the sheets even knew the rooms was poor quality. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
