Worst stay at a hotel
Sep 26th, 2020
Worst night stay in a hotel. My biggest fear came to life tonight. We were almost asleep when someone uses their key card and opens our room door. (We did have the bar flipped so they couldn’t get in) We screamed and they shut the door. We called down stairs 4 times before anyone would answer the phone. I give her our names and she said hang on I will have to call you back. After 10 minutes I call her back again and she tells me she’s with another guest and she’ll have to still call me back. Mind you this is now after midnight! She finally calls me back about waiting 37 minutes. My husband has finally went back to sleep at this point so it wakes him back up. And all she can tell me is she mixed up our names and checked someone else in our rooms we were already in. Worst customer service! She offered to give us free breakfast but we already have reservations for breakfast so she wave our $20 parking fee! We will never stay here again!!!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
They took great care of us as we celebrated anniversary!

(The survey with this form errs in asking if there is PAID parking onsite. It's absolutely FREE. ) Oh, how special we were made to feel as we stayed at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott as an element of our 49th wedding anniversary celebration. (We're taking a number of trips with our Marriott Titanium Elite status.) Matt and Ling Ling (and others, I think) worked to find an available suite for an upgrade. With covid protocol, this was difficult. They made it happen. Ling Ling was so excited about our suite she was jumping with joy. Our 2-room suite was amazing with a balcony overlooking the water and looking out over green trees. This is just what I dreamed of. I was disappointed that the room did not have a makeup mirror. I asked for a makeup mirror and it was graciously provided. We asked for and received extra Keurig coffee pods (before we read that extras were supposed to be purchased downstairs.) Afternoon coffee was a special treat. From the balcony we reminisced of other trips through the years. We marveled that our marriage is older than The Woodlands. We planned the trip to The Woodlands to dine at our favorite restaurant, Peli Peli, during Restaurant Weeks. It was simple to book Lyft and get dropped off right at the door on a hot afternoon. It was only when we made a trip to Katy that we needed to access our vehicle parked in the FREE garage that was accessed through a beautiful walkway over the busy street. WHAT a pleasant surprise when we saw that Churrasco's, the other restaurant we planned to visit (because we love their fried plantains), was right next door. When we departed with our Titanium Elite 4pm checkout, we ran into a bit of a snag. The walkway to the garage was locked at 2pm. Fortunately, a lovely staff person (maybe Marsha ?) saw what was happening as we were leaving with luggage in hand. She served as our personal guide through the back passageways to get us to the point on ground level where we could cross the busy street. She, too, has been married 49 years! To say she went out of her way to assist us would be an understatement. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

It was a decent stay hotel. The downside there was no bellman personnel. Several restaurants within walking distance. I had a room overlooking the river. It was a nice relaxing view. We visited the Koi pond across the hotel. We also enjoyed walking along the river and taking in nature. They did make us aware that there would not be daily housekeeping due to the pandemic measures. Rude, uncompassionate manager by the name of Anthony.
Jul 19th, 2020
I personally will never say in Marriott again I pulled my bookings from any future ones that I have either from conference room from the sales department or from any hotel stays. The manager is rude and compassionate it is downright cold and mean. The time of need all she wants to do is say no. That's his choice and my choices not to stay with them or book anymore conference rooms with them. And I have the right to voicemail your opinion so I will. This is my opinion based on facts. MANAGER PEDOPHILE!!!!!!! OLDER MAN WITH GLASSES.
Jul 19th, 2020
Me and my friends decided to take a stay in the hotel. We decided to walk the hotel and look around. A white male in his 40s(looks like manager? or worker) kept following us and making me and my sisters feel very uncomfortable and like we were being followed or watched. Then we got up once to get ice and he came to our door three times and would not stop knocking. He also called the room. He accused us of being loud when we were just sleeping. I felt very uneasy by him and some pedophile vibes from this much older man picking on a group of young girls. Very annoying to be woken up three times for faulty accusations. We also moved to go to our other room in the night and got called on. We were completely silent and not being loud at ALL. this was overall a very horrid stay and I don’t recommend. VERY PEDO VIBES.
