Boutique style hotel but a bit short on 'hotel' amenities. Location is a bit twixt and between with not too much of interest around the hotel. Rodeo Drive is close but not as interesting as you'd imagine and there's not much else around for a visitor to LA. Reception is dark and dingy and the staff there are a mixed bunch, some clueless but others really helpful and friendly. The valet team were very good. Our room was on the upper floors and was okay with a 70's-80's vibe but not really in a good way. It was a bit weird but the bed was comfortable and house keeping okay. Floor to ceiling windows let in a lot of light though. The bathroom was tiny, well shower room really and quite nicely done out in black marble and pearlized mosaic tiles. Toiletries were more than ample and very good to use. No soundproofing to the outside though, continual traffic noise, neighboring a/c units etc but you are in a big city so... Breakfast at the hotel was not very good - small utilitarian space and limited left field menu with sky high prices. We tried it once only. Staff were pleasant enough though. Roof pool was something an nothing as well but seemed quite popular and the bar staff were okay but not terribly pro-active in service. A lift did break down so it took ages to get to the roof pool and the other floors too. For a tourist to LA I think there are better areas to stay in than Beverly Hills but then that name does have a magnetic pull! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

3-star hotel; nice staff; some rooms better than others

May 16th, 2019

The Sixty Beverly Hills is in a good location but based on the room quality and amenities actually in the rooms, I wouldn’t consider it a 4-star hotel. The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful though they were not fluent in English so we had some communication problems. We found the rooms to be small and not all of the rooms are as pictured on the website. I would not recommend this hotel for families with small children. The rooms were still being cleaned when we checked in at around 5:30 in the evening. To avoid waiting around with a wailing toddler, we decided to go with a “renovated” King Deluxe room on the 2nd floor. The room was very small and ridiculously dark, with one small rectangular window, and a bathroom with practically no counter space. Not at all like the King Deluxe room pictured on the website. Luckily, we were able to get a room upgrade for our last 2 nights to a room on the 6th floor which actually looks like the King Deluxe pictured on the website. Another annoyance was the $400 hold placed on our credit card for incidentals after the front desk staff member stated there was only going to be a $150 hold. Also, there were no robes or coffee maker in either room. I was able to get an electric water kettle from housekeeping. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Strangers hair on the bathroom wall!!!!

May 13th, 2019

Very bad experience!!! We were living in the Double Deluxe room and there were a bunch of hair on the bathroom wall. i found blonde strands of hair on the bathroom walls while taking a bath. Our hair is dark brown so it could not belong to us. Apparently the hair were from last guests. It was very disgusting and gross. It was the worst hotel that we ever been to. Beside the hotel was very old and lighting condition was poor. It was very awful experience. we will never go back again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Loved it!

May 9th, 2019

My daughter and I recently stayed here on a girls trip. We loved everything about this hotel. From the reception desk to the valet service to the restaurant service...we only had great experiences with friendly, professional and courteous people. I can't say enough about everyone we met. Also, loved the rooms (clean, cute and functional) and the area the hotel is situated in is great for walking to shops, restaurants and cute neighborhoods for nice quiet walks in the morning or evening. I travel a lot, and this hotel ranks as one of my favorites. Rooftop pool was also amazing. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
