A wonderful hotel
Sep 15th, 2020
We spent three nights at the Antler Inn while visiting Yellowstone National Park. This is a wonderful hotel in West Yellowstone. Room 213 was a VERY large king with nice design touches (such as crown molding at the ceiling) that made the room more appealing. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Adjustments have been made for Covid-19, including keeping housekeeping out of the room unless you ask for something. A very interesting outdoor wild animal sanctuary is just around the corner and the local history museum is across the street (closed due to Covid). We enjoyed our visit to the wild animal sanctuary but the museum was closed due to Covid-19. Included in the room rate is an $8.00 per person coupon for breakfast at the adjacent restaurant. That's enough to cover basic eggs, hash browns, bacon and coffee. While we stayed at the hotel-like property, there is a connected one-story motel building around the corner. This review doesn't involve the one-story motel. We reserve five 'stars' for outstanding luxury properties, thus our rating. We would definitely stay at the hotel again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Good Stay and Friendly Staff
Sep 14th, 2020
Three Bear is a basic no frills hotel but what I expected in this area. The room was comfortable but dated. The staff was all super friendly, and the location/proximity to the park’s west entrance was excellent! The room came with breakfast vouchers to the Three Bear Restaurant which was absolutely awesome for down home country breakfast. My wife wasn’t big on the hotel, since we’re used to staying at higher end/newer places, but I enjoyed it for what it is and would stay again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very close to Yellowstone west gate. Clean, friendly staff. Bed and pillows not comfortable. Breakfast included is good, if you’re willing to wait 45-50 minutes for a table. We went elsewhere for better food & service Overall, ok, not great TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Fix Your WiFi!
Aug 30th, 2020
We were here for a couple of nights and I had to do a report for work with a deadline. The "free" WiFi would allow you to log in but the signal was non existant and my attempt was timed out, time and again. The next day I asked the bartender if she had a stronger signal in the bar. Nope, it's bad, she said. I went to the office and asked the clerk if the signal would be better in the guest business office? No, she says. It's bad. This is when she says it was probalby my fault trying to use it later in the day when everyone was on it. Sorry, I say. I was trying at 6:00 am with the same result as the night before. We finally went to trusty old McDonalds and used their free WiFi with their stong signal. Later that day I noticed that the hotel signal was working from my phone. My guess is someone slapped the side of the router like we would do in the old days with tube TV's. Note to hotel: JUST FIX IT! They have a pool which I did not use or see. They a restaurant which is good. They give you an $8 coupon you can use for breakfast. The bar is nice. They say the hotel was built in 2009 and remolded in 2011. I don't believe it. It's an older property and has been renovated. It looks worn. THE ROOM: 40" TV. One premium TV channel. Fridge, Microwave, coffee maker, blower. ISSUE: they are trying to enforce COVID, but one issue that bugs me is that they won't clean the room or make beds while you're there. If you need towels, or coffee, for example, you are instructed to stop by the office. They can't make the beds? Really? As I said, it's an older property and is starting to show some rough edges, like the "free" WiFi, but it gets the job done. It will be fine. Enjoy. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Clean, Quiet, and Simple
Aug 21st, 2020
We stayed at this motel for three nights after being at two resorts in Jackson Hole costing two to three times as much. This was the best hotel of them all! The beds were comfortable, breakfast was included, the staff was friendly, the room was clean and quiet. I would not have expected the "quiet" with cars parked right outside, but it was very quiet. Close to the West Yellowstone Entrance to the park. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
