I took 2 of my nieces and my daughter for a few days after New Years and had reserved 2 rooms. My 2 nieces arrived the day after I did. The hotel was clean as were our rooms. The elevator was a HUGE problem. The wait for a elevator was ridiculous taking at the minimum 10-20 minutes. We ended up walking the stairs quite a bit but it was difficult to accomplish this with luggage on the day we checked out. The breakfast was ok. There were 2 breakfast areas. One on the main floor and one in the basement which was odd. One evening we had picked up a pizza from a pizza place just a little way down from the hotel. We decided to eat it all together in the breakfast/bar area because other than sitting on the bed there wasn’t enough room for all of us to eat and there were tables to sit at. The bar wasn’t open the entire time we were there (and having a glass of wine after a long day of sightseeing would have been nice). We had paper plates, napkins and bottles of water the pizza place provided us. We were all sitting quietly eating (in a empty bar room) and a hotel employee got quite rude telling us we were not allowed to eat in there. I told him we would clean up after ourselves and we were almost finished and he told us to hurry up and left us to finish. The other problem I had was that I paid for both rooms. My daughter and I ended up in a very small room while my niece’s was nearly twice the size of mine. She felt quite bad about it and offered to change rooms but we had already unpacked. I’m not sure if we would stay here again. The location was good but the elevator and the size of my room was a issue as well as the rude employee. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Upon entering hotel, lady at front desk was dressed very unprofessional, when representing STAYBRIDGE SUITES some sort of business attire would have been nice. The hallway carpets were so filthy and stained, it also continued into our room. The room had a funky odor & drawers wouldn't close properl & had some sort of milky white streaks,GROSS!! The elevator took 25 minutes from the 15th floor, word to the wise if you need to get someplace quick, plan!! Only positive was that the bed was comfortable & I was checking out early. Some good some not so great

We stayed at the Staybridge Times Square it close to all of the Times Square subway stops and an reasonable walk to Penn Station. The street faces one side of the Port Authority bus terminal which is a bit grimy. There is also some government agency on the street which attracts some questionable dudes but there are lots of hotels on the street so you feel safe. The rooms were fresh and clean although there were some black bits in the bat Lhasa tub which I chose not to think about. The elevators are small and under capacity for the number of guests. We chose a lower floor 6 so we could easily do the stairs up and down. They have a decent breakfast which changes some each day to keep it fresh. Monday - Wednesday they have free beer wine and food 5-7 If the price was right we would stay again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

It fell very short than what the reviews indicate & for it's price. I trusted the reviews but it was not accurate at all. For $200 CD/ night we should have had better. The staff was very polite & helpful, breakfast was not bad at all. Location was great. Cleaneness not so much. There was an error with our request & ended up in a super TINY room, with single beds that were broken up & super uncomfortable. The room was in general very dated, smelled funny due to very old carpet, terrible for breathing, broken light switch, mold & wall holes in the bathroom. The 3 tiny elevators were not accomotating enough for a 30 floors building, super slow and noisy (it kept us up all night). In general our experience was frustrating & disapointing.
