Would NOT recommend!

Jun 27th, 2019

Do not let the photos fool you! My husband and I checked into the Timhotel two weeks ago and checked out two hours later.. The room was dirty and needed repair. (chiped furniture, paint peeling on walls, stained carpet, lumpy bed). I booked a Superior Room (which is the photo above and on the booking site) but was given a standard room. Also, the average rate was around $70 per night and we were charged $359 Euro ($408 USD) for two nights! After our negative experience I sent an email to the hotel and to the corporate headquarters requesting a refund for the incorrect room rate and have heard nothing back from either. Timhotel obviously does not care about their guests nor their reputation. If you're looking for a simple hotel in the area, book at Ibis instead and stay far away from Timhotel. Most unpleasent experience ever in a hotel

Jun 5th, 2019

Service was super unpolite - he was shouting at me during checkin. This actually never happened to me ever in my life before. Room is small, not really clean. Bathroom is a one-piece plastic element. Bed was fine. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location - dirty and cheap rooms

May 28th, 2019

It's a good hostel in an awesome location neat the La seine musicale. Our bathroom door couldn't be closed, the room was dirty and the interior was cheap. But for 1 or 2 nights it's ok. Nothing special but the personal was really good and they understood english. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Trip to Roland Garros

May 27th, 2019

Superior room is what is pictured on the booking site, but, it is not what you get. What you get is a Standard room. Well!!! - the bed linen was very clean, but, the bathroom was very small and very old, though it was at least functional, the bedside lights were dangerous, working, but with bare wires visible. It is also Not advisable to put your bare feet on the pretty disgusting carpet, which was only vacuumed where it would easily reach, leaving large and very old piles of dust visible under the radiator and other areas. We complained, and after a considerable amount of time and effort reasoning with the reception staff, they finally agreed to upgrade us to a superior room, which was much better, bigger and cleaner, but the bathroom smelled strongly of diesel, for whole of our stay...................,. SMALL, SIMPLE HOTEL WITHOUT PRETENTION

Oct 31st, 2018

I chose the hotel because of it's proximity to the Stade Coubertin (15 minutes on foot), and because of the price. It worked out to be ideal for my needs, as a single traveller. My double room was small, and would have been very tight for two people. The bed was confortable and the room was clean. The bathroom was tight and outdated, and the shower head and toilet seat loose, but the water was hot. Common parts definitely need a major re-vamp ! Reception manned 24 hours a day, and staff friendly. Breakfast basic and rather expensive, but OK. Other guests can be noisy, but as I was shattered at the end of each day, this wasn't a problem. Plenty of small shops, organic food, cafés and restaurants close by, and the shopping area north of the metro station (Marcel Sembat) was good. Yes, I would go back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
