My happy place!

Oct 16th, 2020

A different type of experience! Your are nestled away from it all. Just the ride up to the lodge is breathe taking from the airport or the Dubois side. You can stay in a cabin or in the main lodge. Each gives you a different experience. I have stayed in cabin for the last few years as I travel with my 2 dogs. It is great because you have so much room to give them exercise and let them be a part of your vacation. Just keep in mind that there is a ton of natural wildlife that lives there.. There are fox, moose and more.. so you need to make sure to keep constant awareness. Love the cabins as it gives you an at home feel. The lodge is great though as keeps you close for the saloon and restaurant. Always clean and friendly. I am sure there is always going to be something that could come up anywhere you go... So just ask! The staff over my 14 years of visiting has always been super accommodating. Dog sledding available, snowmobile rentals and even in summer an outdoor area for large parties. I travel here for business and relaxation trips. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Loved it

Oct 2nd, 2020

We absolutely loved our stay. Our reservation was cancelled since they were closing earlier than expected. We got a phone call from them letting us know what was happening. We were bummed about the change and contemplated not going but We moved our trip and the timing was perfect for the fall colors. Bree was very apologetic about doing this but we completely understood. This year has been a crazy one with everything and trying to accommodate when dealing with the covid. We have driven by it on our previous trips and it was the place we wanted to stay for our Fall trip. Our dogs loved their walks around the property. The accommodations were perfect. It was quiet and peaceful. The staff is friendly and helpful if you have questions or need anything. We will definitely be back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Fantastic Cabins Close to National Parks

Sep 25th, 2020

My sister & I had a wonderful stay at one of the fireplace cabins. We were close to the park and the setting made us feel like we were still in the park. Woke up to deer outside our window one morning. Cabin was clean and very comfortable. Due to COVID-19 the restaurant wasn't open so hopefully next time we can check it out. We stayed 3 nights which wasn't enough as there is so much to see in the 2 parks and the local area. I noticed that they have generators all around the the property which made me feel extra safe due to any power outages that might have occurred. We hope to come back in a couple of years for an extended stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Avoid this place!

Sep 22nd, 2020

On August 17, I booked a stay at Togwotee for 9/29 through 10/2. I was charged the full price up front and paid the credit card bill in early September. On 9/22 - seven days before my scheduled arrival - I received an email from the credit card company crediting the amount paid. No explanation. Several phone calls later, I was advised that Togwotee decided to convert from the summer season to winter season that week and, thus, had unilaterally cancelled my reservation. No phone call from Togwotee, No e-mail from them. Rather, I learned of Togwotee's decision not to honor my reservation from the credit card company. I was left in the lurch to re-book elsewhere - with few options - less than seven days before the trip. Togwotee could not have cared less. ABSOLUTELY NO RESPECT FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS! Great cabins, safe during COVID-19 pandemic

Sep 17th, 2020

We had a great 3-night stay at Togwotee Mountain Lodge while we visited the Grand Tetons. In fact, we then moved somewhere else to visit Yellowstone National Park, and we wished we had just stayed at Togwotee! The cabin we had was excellent - very clean and comfortable, and it was great to have our own space (we were only two people). We especially appreciated the safety precautions due to COVID-19. The check-in process was quick and we were given our cards in a plastic bag (to minimize contact), then contactless check-out. Our cabin had been cleaned before we arrived and the windows left open to give it a good airing out after the cleaner had left. We stayed in a number of hotels during our trip and by far this is the one where we felt safest, and all the efforts were very much appreciated! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
