Perfect stay. Fantastic location

Aug 17th, 2020

Gabriella could not have been more helpful or pleasant. We stayed in a perfect little chalet with 2 TVs, beautiful bathroom, comfy bed, an ante room with cooking facilities and a fridge with fresh milk, fruit juice, fresh fruit was provided and tea and coffee! Breakfast was served to the chalet because of Covid and it was delicious and we ate on our patio. The grounds are gorgeous and the nearby pond and orchards backing onto the mill are a must. Very good value for top quality stay. We could have ordered a takeaway to the room, instead arte at Lateef in nearby Sittingbourne. Faversham is near too and the Oare nature reserve Thank you TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Brilliant hotel

We stayed here 1 night for work. Hotel was immaculate. Our room was ultra clean and modern. Breakfast was great. She cooked everything herself with just a short wait. Fresh food. Really tasty. Would stay here again any day. Loved our stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great stay here.

Jan 19th, 2020

On the whole we really enjoyed our one night stay here. Individual self-contained units. Beautiful surroundings and the barn buildings are so pretty and well accommodated. It was a very cold night -2c and room was almost warm enough for us. Radiators on all night. Under normal temp conditions it would be just fine. Bed comfortable and generally very high standard. No blackout available in morning as Light enters into pretty, high up windows. Personally, not a fan of wet room style showers as wet floor for whole toilet and basin area too, but it was very, very clean and otherwise just fine for us. Cooked breakfast was high quality, freshly cooked and extremely well cooked. Cereals, tea and coffee, juice and everything personalised and lovely. Would stay again and would recommend. Lovely hotel, that is just a little bit different, in a nice way

Sep 19th, 2019

We visited Tonge Barn for two nights, last weekend, 13th - 14th September, and really enjoyed our stay. We had a very warm welcome from the lady on reception, (sorry we didn't catch your name), the check in process was quick enough, and we were soon shown to our lovely room. The room was compact, but sufficient for a two night stay. There were some nice little touches like a microwave and a fridge in the room, should you decide to stay in one evening. The grounds are lovely, and the breakfast was fantastic. Good location for Canterbury and Whitstable. You do tend to hear the train running behind the hotel, but you soon get use to it, and it doesn't seem to run between 11:00pm and 5:00am. Overall, great service, nice room, and a fantastic fried breakfast, all cooked in front of you. We would definitively consider staying here again if we were to visit Canterbury again.
