Excellent service. Friendly staff. I really have no complaint except for the need for a little sundries shop. Although it is posted that if you need something they will bring it to you, and no doubt it will be quick. The gym is ok but I wish it had a bench too. Overall excellent. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Such a great hotel. The rooms were so spacious with an amazing ocean view which was great to watch the and ride. All the staff were very welcoming and nothing was a hassle for them. Finally, the breakfast was out of this world. I stayed for 3 nights and had a completely different selection of food and drink every morning! 5* TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Please oh please just lose the music please!

Nov 2nd, 2019

What a great hotel ! Super staff from Tania x2 in reception to Bernardo in the lobby, Carlotta in housekeeping and the wonderfully knowledgeable and helpful Marcos and Ricardo in the restaurant x best sushi I’ve enjoyed for some time and as a vegan that’s a tall shout out! But all nearly came undone due to the hotel’s insistence to have loud live music in the lobby area every eve. We had the ridiculously loud SWAY playing in Thursday at such volume that we gave up even trying to converse over dinner and retired to our room x But as we are in room 118 we had to wait until after 23 30 before the racket downstairs finally quietened. We tried to speak to the manager the following day but he was too busy to come out to see us . Oh dear and again we have great ground staff but are the management letting these troops down? Am still in the hotel and back in our room listening to the house pianist belt out Freddie Mercury with all the gusto required. Dear God would someone hand me a margarita please quickly x TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Five star service and luxury near Valle de Guadalupe

Oct 29th, 2019

We highly recommend Torre Lucerna in Ensenada as a base for visiting Mexico’s premier wine region, Valle de Guadalupe. After a day at the vineyards and any of the fabulous restaurants in Valle, come back to the beautiful Lucerna to relax and recover. Rooms are beautiful, and the public areas are even better. Fancy a swim or a game of pool? Want a cocktail or cappuccino? A massage? No problem - it’s all available from the friendly and helpful Lucerna staff. They can even arrange a car and driver for your Winery tour. Treat yourself!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful Hotel 40 minutes from Valle de Guadalupe

Sep 17th, 2019

The best hotel in Ensenada, no question. Less than two years old. Very trendy interior decor. Nice Room decor too. Good food. Close to the beach for nice views but unfortunately (and inexplicably for an investment this big) without direct access to the beach. Nice pool area. Nice RoofTop bar that closes early. Good business center and big ballrooms for events. Management could do much better for such a beautiful hotel. We had at most lukewarm water in our shower after being advised by front desk to “let the water run for a while” during our three-day stay. Rooms with Mountain View (half of them) are extremely noisy. You can count the cars that pass by the highway all night long. You hear as if the windows were open. Not even earplugs were offered. Incredible that management won’t do anything to seal and fix the problem after a year. So make sure you get rooms with ocean view and pay extra on the already high rate or go elsewhere. One day, when the hotel was totally booked, we were not allowed to use some of the public areas of the hotel since we were told the owners were having a “private event” while planning the wedding of one of their daughters. Disappointing to see that they use the hotel as their personal backyard, not putting their customers’ satisfaction first. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
