Dirty, smelly room

Jul 1st, 2019

We had first booked a two bedroom suite that had 3 beds. Two days before, I received an email that our room had an electrical problem and they were going to move us to 2 hotel rooms instead, not connecting. Not the way we wanted our family of five to start our vacation, but we said OK. We should have walked away from that red flag. The bigger of the two rooms they put us in was really dirty, mold all over the vents, a strong urine smell in the bathroom, and dirt in the sheets. And we found a used towel on the hook behind the bathroom door. We cleaned the bathroom floor the best we could with Lysol wipes, but the smell was still there. The smaller room was very clean, I wished all five of us could have stayed in that little room. We checked out the next day, 4 days early. Staff comped us the rooms, and told me to contact the managers by email. I did, and a week later, I haven't heard back from them. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Visit was a Saviour

Dec 31st, 2018

Hi. Special thanks to Michael Richardson, Operations Manager. He was instrumental in making my visit with my toddler comfortable. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for comfortable, relaxed accommodation that’s like a home away from home. Thank you TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice family friendly hotel with good location.

Sep 25th, 2018

I would like to express my thanks and appreciation for the service and care I received at TownePlace Suites Raleigh Cary/Weston Parkway while travelling with my daughter to NC last week. The Operations Manager Michael Richardson was attentive and kind. He is showing high level of customer oriented service considering our needs and satisfaction as major priorities. We are thankful for early check in as well as for kindness of all hotel staff we met that time. We had a wonderful time and I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends planning to go to RTP area. Thank you again for such outstanding service. ~Anna TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Needs a remodel desparately

Aug 18th, 2018

We recently stayed at this hotel twice in a period of 3 weeks. We were in 2 different rooms and both were about the same. The staff was very friendly and accommodating but the rooms and breakfast area really need a makeover. The couch in our room had several holes in it, the walls needed to be repainted and the furniture was old. The rooms were clean and well stocked and the linens and towels were nice quality. The breakfast room only had seating for 8 people in the main room and a few seats in the lobby area. It was often hard to prepare a plate since there were so many people in a very small space. The bench seat in the breakfast room was also in need of repair. This could be a very nice place to stay if they take the time to remodel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I always try to stay at the TownePlace when I have business in the Raleigh area. The physical facility is fine and the breakfast is good, but what sets this property apart is the staff. They're not just friendly and efficient, they genuinely seem to care about the guests and they always make me feel like I'm more a part of the family than a customer. The last time I stayed here, it had been a couple of years since my previous stay, and no less than three members of the staff greeted me by name and said they had missed me. To be honest, I was blown away, nobody remembers hotel guests that way. I can't say enough good things about the TownePlace and its staff, it's one of a very small number of hotels that I actually look forward to visiting. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
