Very loud = little sleep

Nov 16th, 2019

You hear the train all night. The radiator is ridiculously loud and sounds like someone hammering on pipes. The window is single pane and let’s in the cold. They don’t give you a good blanket and you can’t turn up the heat, so dress warm for bed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

unenjoyable

Nov 14th, 2019

I enjoyed the location. Lots to do in walking distance from hotel. However, very loud making it extremely hard to sleep with the noises and I found ants in my bed! There's no excuse for not being clean. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location

Nov 13th, 2019

Room was ok, no fridge, no microwave. My room was a bit noisy because was located near a train station. Great location, walking distance to many amenities. Courteous personnel. Very clean, had a little safe box. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The worst hotel

Nov 12th, 2019

There are radiators banging in the rooms and the L runs right outside. Goodluck sleeping here... The hotel rooms are dingy and the service was mediocre. The curtains were tattered and didnt even cover the windows. We ended up checking out a few hours after checking in and they kept my rewards points even though there was no way we could even sleep there. This hotel is a blemish to the wyndham name. Wonderful staff, definitely 2-star digs

Nov 11th, 2019

This building is so old, but I kind of liked that about this place. It’s drafty, and you can hear everything from trains to people on the streets and rowdy partygoers in the room next door. Our first night was miserable because of our next door neighbors partying until 5am, however when we called in a noise complaint, the hotel staff was on it immediately. Had we called a second time, I know they would have ended it for good, but we chose to suffer for some reason. Our room wasn’t super clean, drips of blood on the toilet and floor, yikes, and the heater was so loud and didn’t work consistently. Again, staff is super attentive and fixed the heater right away. Beds are comfortable enough, but come with cheap pillows and a thin blanket for warmth. The shower was awesome. The location even better. I would stay here again for location, because it’s budget-friendly and the staff is all about their guests. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
