Excellent choice!

I travel thru SFO frequently and always search for the best airport hotel. "Best" for me is defined as price, free shuttle service, friendly reception, xlnt WiFi, large bathroom & shower stall, and comfortable bed. I will choose Travelodge for future overnighters. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good stay but..

Perfect location. Free shuttle to the airport. Hotel is nice and clean, have a big pool. But I’m very disappointed about the pillows. The pillows are just horrible. I’m sorry staff, but you’ve got to change it. It is not even a pillow but the post office stuffing in the pillow case. I ended up sleeping on the towels and my neck was sore the next morning. Just if you change it- it will be all good. The rooms are spacious, nice and clean. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Welcome pleasant surprise...

Dec 10th, 2019

While exciting Las Vegas is notorious for what the one-armed bandits can do to unsuspecting visitors, wonderful San Francisco's hazards include hotel rates that come across as mortgage payments on such properties... I shared my anxieties on the subject with a Frisco cab driver I had befriended on previous trips to the city... He suggested I try a hotel on the outskirts, in this case just off the San Fran airport. I had mixed feelings when I read the reviews on this Wyndham property. Yes, also only a 2-star listing. Nonetheless, I figured, the Wyndham brand should count for some minimum quality standards. And, then, the Price Online rate: $67.00 per night. I decided to give it a try. I could always back out - if first visual impressions were to be disastrous! The first positive impression, the shuttle to the property from the airport turned out as promised - every 30 minutes. Arriving at the property, I asked the front desk lady to allow me to first see the room. She raised no objection. When I saw the room, one kingsize bed, linens spotless, TV in the right place, the shower-bathroom spacious and similarly decked out with clean towels, all basic toiletries in place, I promptly accepted. Everything worked in the room, including a heater (this was a December visit) at my preferred personal temperature setting... I had arrived on the last flight out of Las Vegas, Restaurant choices at the Wyndham were limited. Adjacent to the property was an apparently 24-hour IHOP. Across the street - a 3-minute walk - was a Holiday Inn offering a slightly upgrade environment of a Houlihan bistro-type restaurant... Not bad... More important, back at the hotel-motel type, the front desk ladies were polite, pleasant and promptly acted with solutions... Under the circumstances, and considering the price, I can only recommend this super-clean property... I had tried on previous trips other 2-star, 3-star properties in the city but invariably slightly under washed places... TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very disappointed

Nov 30th, 2019

The room was filthy, pretty beat up and NOT at all like the photos posted on the website. Deadbolt block didn't work. We were not given enough towels and the several calls made to the front desk were not answered. Front desk staff were not very accommodating. We will not return to this hotel and would advise everyone to stay clear. Shame on you Travelodge by Wyndham! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Worse hotel stay ever

Nov 23rd, 2019

Worst hotel I had ever stayed at for $270 per night. It was loud, ice machine going off all hours of the night. The coffee maker kept in the bathroom. The hotel is archaic, mold and mildew inside the faucet handles that’s are mismatched. The staff are the unfriendliness people not willing to give advise about traffic times. They tell you to use your google. I slept less than 3 hours, woke up tired for my conference I was teaching at. I normally do not like to leave a negative review but this I wanted to voice my opinion TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
