Rude, Potentially DANGEROUS Customer Service

Jul 18th, 2019

I booked this hotel the day of my stay after I got stuck in SF due to flight delays. Despite having a confirmation number that I later confirmed with customer service was indeed in the system, the front desk was not able to find my reservation and had no room for me. Night desk manager Divinia not only failed to apologize, she insinuated I WALK to a nearby hotel for a room. It was 3am and I am a young woman. Absolutely unacceptable and dangerous. Most awful dump

Jul 14th, 2019

We just needed one night by the airport and made our reservation well we n advance. Upon arrival, the clerk would not accept the card we used to reserve because it didn’t have a chip. We could have been stranded! She was rude about it. Then, the room had two beds that felt like wood planks with sheets only, no blankets or covers. One towel in bathroom that was in disrepair. Air didn’t work right. The room smelled bad. We could not sleep. We left at 3am to get better sleep at the airport! It was wasted money, and a scary place! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The Most Disgusting Place I've Ever Stayed

Jul 8th, 2019

I don't usually bash businesses, but this one truly deserves it. My wife and I had to go to SF for her mom's medical procedure. We had to be at the hospital at 730am, so decided to go the night before. Weeknights in the Bay Area can get expensive, but we found the Travelodge SFO for $140. I grew up nearby, so I know the area well, and though I'd never stayed at the hotel, knew exactly where it was. I booked it based on location and price. I regret it. We had to drop the folks off at a relative's, and we arrived at the hotel about 7pm. Being we had plans for dinner and were meeting up with friends, we just basically dropped our stuff and headed out. The room seemed dank and kind of funky, but we were only going to be there less than 12 hours. Anyway, I didn't really look at what I was dealing with until we arrived back close to midnight. The hotel was so full it was difficult to find parking. Got back to the room to find that it was was nasty!! Take a look at the furniture in there. It is torn and filthy. The microwave cabinet was busted, and the bathroom was pretty gross. They painted the shower enclosure for some reason, and as paint will do when you use it on slick tile surfaces, it is peeling off in the shower. There is an obvious leak under the linoleum. My wife wouldn't walk on the floor without shoes. It was late, so rather than try to get other accommodations, we just dealt with it. I sent the hotel a note, and got a reply saying in part, "...Our goal is to not only meet the needs of each and every guest we serve, but to exceed your expectations to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible..." I googled that language and found it is a canned response. They send that to everyone who complains. They know how disgusting their hotel is. In hindsight, I should have checked the reviews. On yelp, words used by other visitors include 'disgusting', 'gross', and 'terrifying'. They just don't care. It seems they are going to milk it as long as they can without putting a nickel back into it. Never again! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Last option!

If you have no expectations of anything more than a bed then this is your place! Breakfast is not going to happen, IHOP is right there. Bring your own coffee. Parking is at a premium so you might need to move you vehicle several times. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Worst Hotel Experience

Jul 3rd, 2019

If I could give this hotel a lower rating I would. I booked this hotel online the day before. I arrived at 11 PM to check in. My room had not been cleaned from the previous visitors. I don't have high standards about accommodations either, but this place was GROSS. Also, the lock on the door was busted. I refused to stay in the room. The young lady at the Front Desk was very kind. She agreed that I shouldn't stay in the room. She let me stay in the lobby to wait for a shuttle. The lobby was filthy and the blanket she gave me had a lot of hair on it. As I was waiting for the shuttle over the next 3 hours, multiple guests arrived to check in. They had all booked the room online earlier in the day. When they arrived they were all told the same thing: " No rooms available." Needless to say, they were pissed. Also, they take a $100 deposit from you at check in and then are supposed to return it when you check out. It's been over a month and I'm still waiting for my deposit to be returned. Every time I try to call the Front Desk, no one answers. The only people to answer are the booking agents. They transfer me to the manager, but the manager won't pick up their phone. Don't stay here.
