The worst hotel ever. It was disgusting!!! ROACHES EVERYWHERE!! At first, we thought it was okay because we would just be at Busch Gardens all day and only come to sleep/shower. Well it was all good until we started eating a meal when we got back to the room, and I guess the smell of the food woke up those ROACHES! Not only did one crawl right past my food, but there was another on the floor, one on the shower curtain. WELL WHEN I went to show the front desk the roaches there was one I kid you not on the frame outside the door that was the size of my hand! I showed the front desk they “upgraded me”. The next room felt just as cold and nasty.. I said forget it,got my money back the next morning and stayed at the Holiday Inn in a UPGRADED KING SUITE!!!!!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Worst place to stay. Sink was clogged, a bunch of fixtures broken, shower would back up and bring up nasty other peoples hair and other stuff from the drain. Shady characters all over the place. Felt like any minute your about to get robbed. People smoking meth in the parking lot. Had a 4 night stay left that place the next morning. Told counter of complaints and apparently nothing was written on the morning and the morning guy had no idea. Was told I will not receive a refund for missing nights. Be warned. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I'm guessing that most people book this budget hotel because it's across the street from Busch Gardens. That's the only reason to stay here—while our first impression was positive (efficient check-in, nice coordination of colors in the room), it quickly became clear we'd chosen a marginal motel. Just about everything in the room was damaged, the temperature controls on the HVAC unit didn't work properly, and there was no blanket on the bed—just sheets (stained) and a very thin bedspread, making for a chilly night when combined with malfunctioning temperature controls. The smoke alarm had a plastic bag over it for some reason, rendering it essentially useless. The room door didn't close properly, and there was constant noise outside, including what sounded like a military attack and turned out to be fireworks at Busch Gardens, detonated very close by. All in all, this was a rough night for us. I can't recommend this place unless your only interest in the location is proximity to the park. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Family stayed here previously inexpensive. There have been some updates done. One of the workers believe his name was Brian was very helpful and kind. He assisted with directions to where I was going. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

My son said he finally got to sleep after the riff-raf quit making noises in the parking lot after midnight. It is a place that needed more police patrols. My son said it was a busy place as people coming and going (between 10pm and 1am). The room needs cleaning. Night stand has writings on it. Dressers missing a drawer. And when we got there, people of suspect nature hanging out in parking lot, including what appeared to be a prostitute and her pimp. I’ve worked at hotels in my younger days for over four years, and I had seen that type of activity at one hotel in Oregon. Not a place I would want to stay at, and I was disappointed I had booked my son at this place. Sad part is, there is a Holiday Inn Express right next door. And a far cry better than this place. If you can find a hotel close to Busch Gardens, book it over this one. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
