Small boutique hotel in excellent location

Feb 11th, 2020

I stayed here with a friend for a few nights and we had a lovely time. We walked to all the main sites of Rome from the hotel: the pantheon, Vatican City, the Colosseum and of course the Trevi fountain which is less than a minutes walk from the hotel! However, if you are a little less active or restricted in terms of mobility you may need to consider alternatives for the sites that are a little further afield. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was clean albeit a little small. It's perfect if you want to get out and explore the city, there aren't many chill out areas so if you are planning on spending more time in the room/hotel I would suggest considering elsewhere. The breakfast was lovely and always fully stocked with lots of options. I would no hesitate to stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very central and definitely recommend

Jan 17th, 2020

Stayed at this hotel for 4 days! The rooms was very small but stylish. The hotel staff was lovely and super helpful. It’s like 30 seconds walk to the Trevi Fountain. It’s all in easy walking distance to all the main attractions. We didn’t use no transport only walking to every attraction. Lots of gift shops and restaurants by the hotel. But I wouldn’t recommend the restaurants by the hotel as they are too expensive because it’s right by the Trevi Fountain. The breakfast was ok I didn’t eat much of it. Also on our last day, our flight wasn’t in until the night time, so we had to leave our suitcases in the breakfast room. The breakfast room wasn’t safe as anyone can come in and take your luggage. There was a sign saying they are not responsible for any damage or lost property. Also the hotel is so central that you will hear lots of noises in the night time when your sleeping. There is only stairs to get to your rooms, not many though. Plus get the hotel staff to book your transport from the airport to hotel, it’s much easier. I definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to be close to all walking distance attractions. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfect for my short stay

Dec 24th, 2019

We only have 2 nights in Rome and with the Trevi BB Hotel's location, we get to see and do it all! This small hotel has a comfortable and well equipped room (4 storey building no elevator though!) breakfast come with good options and satisfying. The staffs was very helpful and help with booking taxi to airport and reserve us restaurant! Good value and recommended! In my case though, I have booked 2 types of room for 3 of us. The staff lady ended up giving a bigger/nicer room to 1 person and a smaller room to 2 people ... not what I intended to! Yike! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Hidden Gem

Nov 24th, 2019

A beautiful hotel in the perfect location, I would recommend this hotel for Value. Situated right next to the Trevi fountain and within reach to all local amenities and tourist attractions. However we did have to phone reception twice as we had no hot water and they had to do something to the boiler. Also prior to our visit I emailed as it was a special occasion for our wedding anniversary, I had a email back saying the hotel would try their best to upgrade room if they could as it is a small hotel and usually booked but said they would ‘be sure to prepare something nice for us’ which they didn’t which was a little disappointing. Overall we would recommend this hotel but I think it is just missing a few little touches TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A long weekend in Rome

Nov 19th, 2019

Having just returned from a long weekend staying in this gem of a hotel, i cant recommend it highly enough. This is my 3rd time to come to Rome in the last 2 years and will only return here i have now found the perfect location. The room is small but comfortable and for a city break perfect as you do not spend time there other than to sleep. Weather wasnt fab so was nice to be able to nip back inbetween the major sights as its so central. No lift so if mobility is an issue dont book here,if not book it u wont be disappointed.
