Tired Property Not Cat 6.
Jul 14th, 2019
Took 2 rooms for 2 nights. Best part is with hotel staff, very helpful and friendly. Checked in after dinner time but reception staff didn’t offer proper rewards breakfast or amenities. Rooms are tired with desk lamp not working in one room and bedside lighting not working in another. Bathrooms are in need of polishing with mildew stains around corners. Ants were prevalent in one room and centipede in another. WiFi is acceptable. Parking is valet. Suggest a pass on this property. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Loved this place- old school style and wonderful

We stayed for one night and loved is so much we tried to switch plans to stay longer. Unfortunately Marriott would not allow us to change hotels. Jessica was wonderful. She did everything, from helping with check in helping with our suitcases, all done with a smile. Rooms were lovely, bathroom large, great air conditioning. Property was old school charm. We spent our time by the salt water pool. They had a patio bar with misters by this pool. I would highly recommend this hotel, it is a small scale boutique hotel, with great service. A hidden gem. Beautiful and off the beaten path

As a Marriott member who stays in hotels all the time, I was more than pleased with my stay. The staff was amazing, the accommodations were wonderful and the hotel itself is picturesque. I stayed in the Elizabeth Taylor room and couldn’t have been happier. Highly recommend staying here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Not the best Marriott Autograph example

Usually the Autograph collection is a step up, but this one falls short. Rooms had an odd smell, I was in three of them. Took days of open windows to mitigate it. Staff is kind, but this property is old and tired. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We were in town for a quick night celebrating a special occasion and had booked the property next door. Since we got in late, we were instructed to check in with the Triada front desk, which stays open and can handle their late arrivals. Unfortunately there was a mixup with our room's availability, and the desk clerk fell over himself to make things right even though it wasn't his fault--or the Triada's fault!!! We ended up staying at the Triada for the night instead, and were delighted! Everyone was so nice and personable. Several of the staff heard of our mishap and apologized for our inconvenience (again, even though it was NOT their fault at all!), as well as chatted with us about the history of the property. It is a vintage California Spanish which has seen many stars of different eras come through its doors. Palm Springs is known for its midcentury moderns, but this type of architecture is also prevalent and fantastic to explore. Our room was lovely, and we enjoyed the beautiful grounds. There is a freshwater and a saltwater pool as well as a hot tub. We were so relaxed we asked for a late checkout and didn't leave until after 1 p.m. The manager apologized again at checkout for our inconvenience the previous night...did I mention this was not her fault whatsoever? What a wonderful staff! We will be back. We felt so at home. It was an unexpected treat. Thanks so much! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
