Nice veneer.

Mar 17th, 2020

This is a good-looking Marriott in an excellent location. Our room was good-looking too. But we couldn't get past the fact that the door knob fell off our wardrobe when we pulled it, and that the curtains wouldn't fully open because runners on the rod were stuck or bent (hard to say); and one of the drawer handles beneath the television also fell off in our hands. So, seriously - for these prices, and for this location, Marriott can and should do better. Instead, they're clearly letting the place go. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Pros and Cons

Mar 8th, 2020

PROS: nice property, large rooms, spacious bathrooms, great location near UofA with plenty of restaurants around and walkable to many other places in the area to do things. CONS: very noisy, you can hear all the street noise from cars to people in the middle of the night ... and I was on the 7th floor. Right now, lots of outside construction going on .. not hotels fault on that one. Bed was not comfortable and neither was the pillows, I’ve had better at other Marriott properties. Overall nice weekend stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice visit, great location

Feb 24th, 2020

Just spent three nights with my son at this hotel visiting the University of Arizona. The hotel is almost finished with a recent renovation. The property is very nice and a great location to campus. Two suggestions...First, the guest towels are terrible. They need to be replaced. They have no absorption and look as if they have been around for years. Also - in our newly renovated bathroom, there was no water pressure for the sink. Noise is a bit of a problem with the other hotel being built right outside our window and the bars on University. University of Arizona visit

Feb 20th, 2020

We spent two nights at the Marriott while visiting the University of Arizona and you cannot beat the location as it is across the street from the school. There is construction across of an off campus apartment next door but it was not a bother and there is a parking garage next door. The hotel was recently renovated and the rooms are a nice size and there is a concierge lounge on the 9th floor. Han in the lounge was so informative and made the extra effort to get to know us and made suggestions about places to visit and local restaurants. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location but still under construction

Feb 19th, 2020

Overall we had a nice stay, but unfortunately the hotel is still under construction so some areas were not open. And our room was right next to the new hotel being built so heard noise very early - not the Marriott's fault but it was loud. Updated room was very nice and spacious and very clean. Staff was all very nice. We had concierge access but the food was better in main restaurant and prices for drinks were expensive - I would think they would be slightly discounted since already paying for concierge. But the location was great, food was all good and the staff was helpful. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
