This was our second time staying at the Peppermill. We love this place. We got one of the suites with a jacuzzi tub. Last time, our room had a sauna in the shower. And that was a regular hot tub room. No suite. The suite did not have one. was definitely disappointed. The room was nice. We were in room 1234. We were hoping this would be lucky (It wasn't. lol)Nice, elegant furniture. The bed was good. Not great. But it worked. The room was pretty clean. A few fingerprints of the glass shower door, and some on the bathroom door. Some bracelets hanging on the lamp left by previous guest. Black tape holding a grate to the side of the hot tub kept coming off, and I stepped on it a few times. ouch! None of these were big issues. We didn't feel it was dirty, or we couldn't stay there. Those are just little bit picky things. However, my one complaint, I feel is justified, is, you couldn't see out any of the windows. We had, what would have been an awesome view... if we could see it. The windows are obviously double pained. They weren't put in correctly. There is sensation between the panes. It looks terrible. We had a window right above the hot tub. And another one in the sitting room. Both had the same issue. I was extremely disappointed about this. I really looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub overlooking the city. But, it is what it is, I suppose. We stayed 3 nights. We ate at Biscotti and Milano Cafe, both in the casino. Both, we found to be the quality of a buffet. Nothing impressive. The steak house was full and had no reservations all 3 night. And the Asian was closed 2 of the 3 nights. We decided to walk across the street to Ruby River. That was an AMAZING meal. The casino was pretty dead. We won nothing. Boo! lol. The front desk staff is kinda just there. Not friendly. No smiles. No warm greetings. Kinda like, Welcome to Peppermill, get your stuff and get out. haha. Overall, we enjoyed it. You can't beat the price! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Once again we returned to the Peppermill for a quick getaway. We rented in the Tuscany tower... one double king and one king room. Both rooms were in spotless condition. One of the best things about the Peppermill is the incredibly soft and comfortable beds and bedding. Besides the bathroom that is the size of a normal hotel room almost. The giant Jacuzzi tub is always a joy at the end of a long day. We ordered room service which came super fast was super polite servers. We ate several times directly downstairs from the Tuscany tower elevators at the sweet shop. We had cakes and pastries and coffee and they were all delicious. It was too cold use the pool but we have used in the past and it is always super warm and clean. This hotel is always my first choice when we come to Reno. And it should be yours too. The Best Place to Stay and Have Fun In Reno!
Jan 1st, 2021
Won't stay anywhere else while in Reno and we have tried them all. Friendly staff, spacious, clean rooms. We always stay in the Tuscany Tower. Good choice for restaurants. They are taking extra precautions during Covid. Plexiglass screens divide slot machines and only so many people at the tables with no-one allowed to stand behind a player. Everyone masked and/or gloved. Clean and sanitary. Spa is excellent. Casino is lots of fun with designated non-smoking areas. Regardless they are spending $ on their air filtration system as I am sensitive to smoke and not once was I bothered by it and this from a many year ago smoker! For us, Peppermill is THE only place to stay while in Reno. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Reno Native (legit review)
Nov 19th, 2020
Definitely (COVID not withstanding) the classiest casino/hotel in Reno; particularly if you have money to spend. Hands down the best spa and some of the nicest rooms in town. All of that said please do understand that the Peppermill is quite a bit outside of the "downtown" area and is not as much of a party, have a good time in a vice city casino as some downtown (and definitely not as social fun as GSR) casino's. Although it definitely has the best spa in town. It also (COVID not withstanding) had the only good high end "club" in Reno, but if you are looking for a young, fun, meet people (read: locals) kind of time this probably isn't the place. Slot wise (because we all know you tourist want to know) the Peppermill is not the place to win big or even moderate...it has some of the tightest slots and most morally rigorous table in town (I was asked to leave for saying the "F" word twice in an hour at a blackjack table in an adults only area...)so if you are looking for luxury it's definitely the place for you! If you are looking for the best bang for your buck (when you don't make enough to take luxury vacations) the GSR (Grand Sierra Resort) is a better bet, not just spot wise, and you will probably lose less money. But if you are looking for more of a luxury vacation, or even just a self pampering kind of trip, Peppermill is for you. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Nice clean overnite stay
Nov 1st, 2020
Peppermill resort is very clean. The less expensive rooms that are not in the Towers are really nice. Very clean and safe. Although the parking lot was below and outside my room window, I only heard a couple loud motorcycles and cars. The hvac is pretty loud, but it works efficiently. The casino floors had clear plastic barriers between each slot machine - it was a little difficult to get in and out of the swivel chairs in such a small space. Also, I noticed ash trays not picked up. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
