Special mention goes to the breakfast. I see some people claiming it's boring on here. Yes, if you came half way around the world to eat bacon, eggs and toast... I suppose it's about as boring as you are! The varied asian options were all of great quality, lots of healthy options, and some over-the-top items added in for that luxurious touch. (perfectly stir-fried asparagus and shrimp... for breakfast?! boring??!!! come on!! So good!) We moved to this place spur of the moment from a place we had previously booked across the street because the bed over there had been terribly uncomfortable and the room too small with no windows. Immediately, upon inquiry at the front desk, the vibe here was great. Then we saw the room. For the same nightly rate we'd had across the way without breakfast (and windows) we had a palatial room with huge bed, top quality linens, great furniture, huge bathroom and a complimentary fruit basket. Really can't say enough about this place. SO GOOD!!! For $100/night for a couple with breakfast, this place really delivers the goods! Will definitely be back and probably will never stay anywhere else in Chiang Mai! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great stay!

Stayed for a brief visit to ChiangMai. Nice and clean with good choices for its breakfast. Great location within the Old City with lots of eating places and cafes around its vicinity. Walking distance to Sunday market. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Can not say enough good things about this hotel. First class all the way! Large room, with great balconies overlooking the pool. Clean, clean, clean. Breakfast was good with plenty of options for all cultures Location is the BEST. Walk to everywhere. Staff all very pleasant. Pool was very refreshing for the extremely hot days. Yes, we would spend another six nights in a heartbeat! Worth every penny. My only suggestion......the towels needs replacing. They are older and greying. Other than’s a 10 TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful rooms and grounds, great location

Apr 15th, 2018

This is not a full-service resort – no gym, spa, business center, room service, etc. – but it is a lovely, relaxing, well-maintained and luxurious hotel. The style is more traditional than modern: dark wood floors, heavy furniture, Lanna décor. The rooms all have porches or balconies that look out over an infinity pool and tropical garden. We were very happy with the comfortable bed and large bathroom that had both a shower and tub. We didn’t experience any problems with the hot water, but if you want a burning-hot shower then it’s better to take your showers in the afternoon. There is a glass window between the bathroom and the bedroom (which opens and closes from the bedroom side), but the glass is frosted and there are blinds that can be closed from inside the bathroom. The sink, however, does not have a hot water spigot, which is a problem if you need hot water for shaving. The air conditioning and free internet both worked well. The room also has a stocked refrigerator, safe, electric kettle, flat screen TV with many channels, hair dryer, and plenty of outlets. We did not get the breakfast package, but there are a number of good breakfast spots nearby. And that’s one of the best things about this hotel: the location. You are just steps away from two gorgeous Buddhist temples, Wat Chedi Luang and Wat Phan Tao, and can walk to basically everything inside the city walls (as well as locations south and east of the old city). My only complaints are that the room has no dresser, and only a few small drawers, so you can’t really unpack; and that there is only one key to each room. Since you need to keep the key in the room for electricity when you’re there (the credit card trick doesn’t work here), and there’s no way to leave the door unlocked, if one person is sleeping, the other has to knock to get back in. Restful retreat

Apr 2nd, 2018

This is really a charming boutique hotel rather than a resort. Wood floors, lovely rooms, but the pool is in the centre of the hotel so overlooked by the rooms. Our room had a balcony, but it was very hot outside, so we didn't use it. Excellent breakfast. Central location, so easy walk to most of the city centre sights and temples. Very helpful staff. It is three stories high, and there is no lift (elevator), so if you have mobility issues, ask for a ground floor room. The gardens were very pleasant. Altogether we had a very restful stay, and managed to see many sights in Chiang Mai, the best of which was the Thai Farm cooking school. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
