Amazing view

The hotel is beautiful, the staff are friendly. Darren was spectacular. He went above and beyond to make sure that we had an amazing experience. The breakfast and dinner in Toros is delicious. I would highly recommend them. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

World-class experience from valet to check-out! From the minute we were greeted upon arrival, we always felt coddled and authentically cared for. This was our very first visit to not just the Viceroy but Snowmass as well, and the visit made quite an impression on us that makes us want to return for sure. Our visit was due to a wedding, and to make the weekend even more fabulous was the complimentary upgrade to a suite upon check-in to top it all off. Our room was so nice, in fact, that we ended up using it to be the groom’s final ready and photo room. Our unit was well appointed with Wolf and Viking appliances, and it was on the side that faces the ski mountain (which I recommend asking for upon making the reservation.) Along with the view, we also highly enjoyed cocktails by the the luxurious outdoor pool area and spas. Another amenity highlight was our brunch at Toro, complete with unforgettable outdoor view of the mountains and the most incredible salmon benedict that I may have ever had! Finally kudos to the event staff that produced the wedding banquet — wow a true cherry on top of the whole experience, truly making all feel welcome with friendly and professional demeanor. Also top notch was the valet team, always available to take you anywhere you need to go. My only negative aspect was the finicky card keys; didn’t always work on first swipe, and it wouldn’t work on the outdoor fence entrance upon our return to the hotel. When we come back to Snowmass, we’ll stay at the Viceroy (and maybe consider a property there, as apparently they have units for sale (not timeshare.) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing wedding celebration

What a beautiful place for our daughters wedding! Katy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were awesome. The Aspen/ Snowmass area provided a variety of activities for our guests of all ages. We would highly recommend it for any occasion. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Our experience at Viceroy Snowmass couldn’t have been better. Everything from arrival to departure was first class. The young men who worked as valets were exceptional. The hotel and grounds were very well maintained and beautiful. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very bad Staff & Service

Sep 16th, 2020

Upon checking in, I added a night and gave my credit card. I was later called multiple times throughout my stay saying they didn't have a credit card on file for me, and they then intentionally locked me out of my room until I came back downstairs to give them my credit card. Multiple items I called to ask have brought to my room were never delivered, including toothpaste, so I couldn't brush my teeth before an important business meeting - very embarrassing. The valet lost my car keys, and then gave ME ATTITUDE about it when I expressed frustration that I was going to miss an important business meeting - which I did end up missing. The room service I ordered arrived without key ingredients, and was cold and not cooked. I had a business meeting in the restaurant downstairs, and the wait staff basically ignored us, even though there were only about 5 parties in the entire restaurant. The coffee machine in my room broke. Never even bothered to call anyone, because I figured based on the above experiences they wouldn't help anyway. When I tried to call the manager after Checkout to express my complaints, he was too busy to talk, and I never got a hold of him. At the very least, I would hope to be refunded for aT least 1 night, plus room service, resort fees and valet. But Nope, nothing. Additionally, the hotel is very far from Aspen. I wish I just spent more and stayed at a halfway decent hotel in town. Very disappointing experience for my first time in Snowmass. Do not recommend. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
